Chapter 21.

Im sorry I know it not all that good but its all I have.

“What the fuck!” I yelled as John one of our trackers burst through the door. What I didn’t expect from him was that he would be holding a gun.

He raised the gun and pointing it at me.” I need those kids. Im sorry Sage.” He cocked the gun and walked towards me. He pulled me up by my arm and held the gun at my head.

“Kids if you value this woman’s life I would suggest you get into the car.” He pulled me towards the doors waving the gun around, motioning for the kids to move towards the door. While he was focusing on them I tried to get Zach’s attention. I don’t want him to get hurt for this.

“Like I said I truly am sorry Sage.” He raised the gun once again and put his hand on the trigger. As he was pulling back I kicked out his leg causing him to fall and fly out the door that was no longer there. I picked up the gun and did the first thing I thought of. Pulled the trigger.

“mommy? Mommy, I’m scared.” I ran over to the car John had put them in. Zach was b my side as we gathered everything and drove off.

“Where are we going to go?” Zach asked me.

“I have no clue. Maybe there will be a pack around here that we could join.”

“I don’t think anyone will want to take in four rouge wolves.” He does make a valid point.

“What if we go to Alaska? I remember reading something in that book about a little village where the Specials were first created. I think it would be our best chance right now. Unless you can think of somewhere better to be.”

We drove and drove. It took us almost three days to get there but we finally arrived and let me tell you this little village is adorable. Of course its all covered in snow. There are cute little cottages surrounding the whole village. Stone paths were leading out of every cottage yard and they all connected to the town park. It looked like somethingg out of a movie.

“Wow.” I looked at Zach and nodded my agreement.

“Lets go find the hotel or lodge.”

“ill go in this time. You stay with the kids.” I climbed out of the car and walked into the building. The inside was all wood. There was a huge fireplace in one corner of the lobby. The walls were covered in the pictures and drawings that I seen in the book.

“Hello welcome to the special inn. How can I help you?” I looked up and seen a beautiful woman. She was probably in her mid 20s with long black hair and dark brown hair. She was kind of short with a little bit of cubbiness here and there but it just made her look more beautiful.

“Um I need a room with 2 full size beds.” She nodded and started typing things into her computer.

“Can I interest you in meeting with the town witch. Its said her family was the witches who made the specials real. And they made this town impossible for humans to get to.” I nodded and took my key heading back out to the car.

“I guess were gunna meet the witch who started this all.”
