My precious Princess Blue Ivy was born earlier this year on January 7, 2012. I've been enjoying every second of being a Mom. Being a mother has given me time to take a break from my career for a while and not only focus on my family, but also on myself. In such a short amount a time being a mother is making me grow more as a woman. Mama said that would happened but I didn't know it would come so fast. The only thing I'm really working on right now at this moment is writing music and planning for Blue's first birthday.
Now my marriage? Me and Jay have been married since '08 and we just celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary back in April. My life is private so before cheating rumors get out, I most likely already know. Even though having Blue has brought him closer to me again, I still feel like he's here but he's not here. It's been me and him always, for years. He's all I know. But am I all he knows? Can he commit to me for the rest of our lives like he always says he would? I have my suspicions about Jay and how he moves but I don't want to be the problem and be the one to make assumptions. To keep the peace I'm just going to be quiet unless I'm really one thousand percent sure.
"C'mon baby, let's go get you ready while we wait for Daddy.", I said kissing Blue on her nose. Jay said he is taking us to the aquarium. I love whales so I'm excited. Blue is 10 months so her speech is progressing a lot more. She still talks baby gibberish of course but her speech is so funny sometimes. She's sassy and I can tell she's going to be a bossy brat. But I will teach her how to be humble and listen.
I was carrying Blue to the bathroom but she got down and crawled to the tub herself, pulling herself up over the hedge trying to find balance. Her baby bounce is hilarious.
"Ma-ma?"
"Yes princess?"
She pointed to the bottle sitting at the end of the tub. I smiled when I realized what she was trying to tell me. Blue loves a little bit of bubbles in her bath.
"Bubbles? You want some bubbles?"
She gave me the biggest smile showing her teeth coming in at the bottom. I turned on the water while throwing some rubber duckies in there with her favorite doll to play with in the tub. After a reasonable amount of water ran for my baby, I sat her down in the tub while she grabbed a rubber ducky. I made sure to stay behind her so she won't fall behind and hit her head. After a while, I got up and walked towards the bathroom mirror preparing to pamper my natural make up look up a bit. I like listening to music while getting ready so, why not?

I dropped the make up brush in the sink; and my heart skipped a beat at the familiar voice. How did I miss Nicki's Roman Reloaded album release on the 19th? I thought at least Jay would've told me since they've worked together before. I turned around to check on Blue and she was bopping her little head to the song while playing with her toys. I couldn't help but smile at how adorable she is. I started dancing a little to entertain her more.
