We walked out of Total Wine side by side laughing about her dropping that bottle and making it shatter everywhere. She was lightly blushing, trying to hide how red her ears are by continuously pushing her hair behind them. She's walking me to my car through the parking lot.
"I'll send you my address. Just follow behind me.", I said.
"Okay."
Bey opened my car door for me and gave me my bag since she wouldn't let me carry anything.
"You don't have to do this you know? You're being really sweet."
"New Yorkers aren't used to generosity huh? Get used to a friend being helpful. There's nothing wrong with it."
"We're not the nicest people in the world but we're not that terrible. My friends are very helpful FYI. Did you want any candy from in there?"
"No I'm straight."
I put my hand on the door handle while her right arm was still propped up on the side. I smirked while I looked up at her.
"Mhm. You sure?"
She blushed as she caught on to the inside joke.
"Nika quit playing."
"Who said I was playing?"
No kidding, this is exactly how I felt how we was at the moment.

We was having a stare off and she licked her lips as our eyes battled for dominance, which she won hovering over me getting closer. My muscles relaxed in response. I surprisingly don't feel uncomfortable when she's close to me.
"Start the car so we can go."
"You know for someone that asked to buy me a drink you don't seem very excited."
She gasped sarcastically.
"I've been thinking about it since then. I've been waiting on you to say yes pretty girl."
I felt Roman move around in her sleep.
"Keep on.", my other half said internally. I felt my eye lids lower. I went into my purse to look for my keys so I can break this intense eye contact. She don't even know, I will let her snatch my soul one good time but I'll keep that to myself.
"Moveaaa Beyyy."
"That doesn't sound like you want me to move."
I looked at her arm on the door & pushed it. She's flirtatious. Okay. I'll play her game.
