someone needs to hold me hostage and get me back to weekly updating again. i'm so sorry

Harry stumbled down the stairs of Louis' house and swung on the bannister at the end, walking into the main room where there were people dancing to the loud music playing.

The song changed from some thumping bass with melancholy lyrics, to George Michael's Careless Whisper.

Harry's hands went up in the air as he swayed his way into the mass of gyrations bodies, and over to where he could see Calum, Luke, and Michael jumping around in circles. They saw him and cheered drunkenly as they all met up in a small group in the centre of the room. Harry took Luke's outstretched hands and allowed himself to be pulled towards him.

'I feel so unsure
As I take your hand and lead you to the dance floor
As the music dies, something in your eyes
Calls to mind a silver screen
And all its sad good-byes.'

Harry got spun in circles a few times and swung his hips around as they all sang the chorus, all meeting up in what some would call a group hug, and others would call a sweaty-mass-of-drunk-men-dancing-to-Careless-Whisper.

He looked over to the archway that lead towards the entry hall and spotted Louis leaning against the wall, staring at him. Harry smiled slyly and turned to Michael who was mid-drink.

'Time can never mend
The careless whispers of a good friend
To the heart and mind
Ignorance is kind
There's no comfort in the truth
Pain is all you'll find

I'm never gonna dance again
Guilty feet have got no rhythm
Though it's easy to pretend
I know you're not a fool.'

They all screamed the lyrics to each other when it built up until Michael and Luke decided to leave to get more drinks, leaving Harry with Calum as the song continued.

He said something in Harry's ear - which didn't register in his intoxicated state - and turned him so Harry was plastered against his chest. He reached around and gripped the back of Calum's neck and placed his other hand on his hip, dancing dirtily against him.

'Tonight the music seems so loud
I wish that we could lose this crowd
Maybe it's better this way
We'd hurt each other with the things we'd want to say
We could have been so good together
We could have lived this dance forever
But now, who's gonna dance with me?
Please stay.'

The bridge was full of Harry flicking his hair and tossing his head back, smiling and Calum who was in a state of shock about his movements.

That was until Harry was detached from him and was being led away. He turned to Louis whose demeanour was stone cold as he almost dragged Harry outside and into the garage, practically shoving him into the passenger seat of his car.

Harry's previously giddy and slightly tipsy mood was immediately ruined once Louis hopped in the driver's seat and locked the doors.

He started the ignition and pulled out of the driveway, the people in the way moving aside as the car drove past them.

The ride was silent until they were on Harry's road.

"You're such a pretentious douchebag," Harry grumbled.

"Thanks." Louis gripped the steering wheel tightly.

"Fuck off." He rolled his eyes and looked outside. "I was having a fun time and you ruined it."

"Good to know."

Harry turned to him and scoffed. "You're joking, right? Tell me you are not jealous right now."
