Part 6

---- in the morning ----

That night you managed to get by without any nightmares. You were woken this time by Tom. 'Wake up sleepy head-' He said. You opened your eyes slowly ' W-whats... goin' on?' You said drowsily. 'Come on you've got training with the RL.' He said. You got up and got changed. As soon as you were done you went outside to see Tom waiting to escort you to your boss's office. 'Why did you need to wake me up so early?' You said yawning. 'RL said he wanted to run some more tests on you later.' He said yawning as well. Why did he need to do all these tests too early? Soon you arrived in front of his office. again. 

You walked in to see him reading some sort of a magazine. It had a few anime girls on it but you weren't able to get a very good look before he put it down. 'Finally! We can have a one-on-one session.' He said walking over to you. 'So, any more nightmares Y/N?' He said 'No RL.' You said calmly. 'We're too close for you to call me the red leader. Please call me Tord!' He said as he approached you. You stood there shocked. No one seemed to know his name and the few who did rarely said it if ever. You shook yourself out of your thoughts. 'Now down to business... have you ever used a knife before?' He said with a mischievous glint in his eye. You shook your head no. The only time you used one was when you were working as a chef in that old restaurant you used to work in. 'Well then today is gonna be fun-' He said smirking.

Instead of going to the courtyard, you both went to a small gymnasium. Its walls were covered in red like every other room on the army base. He grabbed something from a tray and turned to you. Suddenly he dashed towards you so fast you couldn't even react. He held you from behind, knife to your neck. You struggled, but he was ten times stronger than anyone you've ever fought. 'Well, here I was thinking you were ready!' He said laughing. He let go of you. you took a deep breath and sat down on a near bench. Tord fiddled with his watch for a second before tom came running inside. That must be how he alerts everyone. 'So Y/N... a knife is a deadly physical combat weapon. A few blows are fatal to the human body-' He said running his fingertip over the blade. 'However, it has some disadvantages...' All of a sudden he threw it at a nearby dummies head.

You jumped back startled. ' Knowing how to use it is just as important as knowing how to stop it... Tom will attack me with a knife and I am gonna show you how to defend against one.' He said finally. He gestured towards tom. he grabbed a knife and started running at him. Tord neatly dodged it and grabbed Tom's neck and hand throwing him to the ground. He kicked away the knife and let go of tom. 'Classic stupid Tom!!' He said laughing ' You have to avoid the knife and focus on incapacitating them.' He said. 'I'm gonna try to attack you.' he said. Without warning, he ran at you. Trying to copy what he did to tom you grabbed his neck but his arm was too fast. He pretended to slit your throat. 'You need to be faster than the enemy.' He said getting back into position. You tried again. You grabbed his neck and arm and threw him to the ground. You picked up the knife and pretended to stab his back.

You practiced a few more times before he decided it was time to move on. 'Now- I'm gonna show you how to attack using a knife.  You wanna keep it out of the enemy's reach so they can't take it. The best way to attack it from behind and a quick slice to the throat.' He said pretending to slice his own throat. You nodded. He ran at Tom knife in hand, hidden slightly behind his back. Tom tried to dodge but he knocked Tom back and got behind him knife to his throat and pretended to slice his throat.  You grabbed a knife and ran at him. He dodged and got you in a headlock he grabbed the knife from you and said 'Too easy. You're never gonna make it in a fight.' You got up. Who was he to tell me I couldn't fight? He saw me fight that drunk guy. Surly he dint just tell me to join because I looked good. I'll show him I'm more than just a pretty face.

 Once again and ran at him with a fiery rage. You were faster than him. You knocked him over when he tried to dodge. You wrapped your legs around his waist. You clung onto his back so he couldn't pull you off and you make a swift slice to his throat. You let go of him and let him fall. You were so busy trying to beat him that you didn't notice the group of viewers watching you. They all clapped. You saw Travis, Tyla, and Kathy in the crowd clapping and waving. You helped Tord get up. He shook your hand. You shook his only to get an 'Awwwww they're holding hands!' from Kathy. You looked at her and stuck out your tongue. 'Friend?' asked Tord looking at Kathy. 'Yeah.' You said waving at an excited Travis. 'By the way, your legs look nice wrapped around me like that. Maybe we could do that again sometime-' he whispered while winking at you. By now you were beet red.

A few moments later you followed Tord to his office. again. for the sixth time. he sat down and grabbed a glove while gesturing for you to sit down too. 'This might hurt a bit.' He said as you placed your hand inside the glove. Suddenly you felt hundreds of small needles pierce your skin. You yelped in pain. You quickly took your hand out and saw several beads of blood start to form on the cuts. You winced. He grabbed a bandage and started wrapping your hand up. You looked at him for a second before he said ' So... I've got some news for you. We're going out for our weekly dinner tonight. I was wondering if you wanted to join us as one of my bodyguards.' He said. You could see him blush slightly. 'Was that a question or demand?' You said. 'Either way, I'm happy to go.' You said smiling at him.
