(Y/N)' s POV

My childhood friend, Ouma Kokichi was always an idiot. He always tricks me, plays pranks on me and more. But me and him were basically inseparable. We always did things together and helped each other out.  Over the years, I think I found out that I...like him.

I was reading a book at the library while my phone started to go off. "Shoot!" I thought in my head. I snatched my phone off of the table and went to my notifications. Who is blowing up my phone while it isn't on silent mode? "Oh." "I should have known it was Kokichi." I thought to myself.

Kokichi : Hiiii (Y/N) channn
I bought ice skating tickets for the both of us!
So that means you can't deny my request
Come with me pleeease
I'm so bored -_-

"I mean, I don't have anything better to do right now." I thought to myself.

(Y/N) : Sure, I don't see why not.

Kokichi : look up lol

I was confused, so I looked around me. Until I saw him. Kokichi was at the table in front of me the whole time.

"WHAT THE-" Kokichi ran up to me and put a finger in front of my mouth, "shhhhh" he said. "Let's kick ourselves out before we get kicked out." "Agreed." I replied to his idea. So we exited the library. Afterwards, Kokichi walked me to my house to get ready. "I'll be back to pick you up at 3:30 sharp, I promise..., or am I lying?" "You won't know! Neheehee!" He laughed, as I just went with it. "See you Kokichi!" I yelled before going inside my home.

After getting ready, I had my snow hat, jacket, and new snow skates Kokichi had gotten me. I haven't gone ice skating since me and Kokichi were just little kids. I never was good at it, I always had Kokichi help me so I wouldn't fall on my face. The memory made me laugh to myself, I loved memories like those, since they always made me happy.

Kokichi was at my house at 3:30 sharp, like actually on time. He knocked on my door, with the checkered knit scarf I had knit him couple months before Winter this year. "It makes me happy that he is using it...he's so cute in it..." I thought to myself. "I'm here to pick you up for our date!" He exclaimed excitedly. "D-date?!" "Thi- this is a da-date?!" I yelled, my face turning a dark red. "Neeheehee!" He laughed his usual laugh, "I'm only joking!" "Or am I?" Kokichi said confusing me. "whatever..." I said still trying to get the red blush off my face.

We walked for a couple minutes, until we both saw a ice rink. "There it is, (Y/N)!" Kokichi told me. "No dip Sherlock" I said smirking at him. "meanie" he added.

As we went inside, I got extremely cold right when we got in, it felt like everything was freezing. We sat down at some seats, putting on our ice skates.

Kokichi was the first to go onto the ice. "(Y/N), come on slow poke!" He exclaimed "I'm coming, don't worry!" I replied back to him. I went onto the ice, I was doing good at first, but then I had to hold onto the wall to prevent myself from falling face first.

Kokichi was doing amazing, he was always flawless at ice skating. "Uhm, Kokichi..?" I called out. "Yesss (Y/N)-Chan?" He replied. "Do you mind if I could have some help?" I asked. "Hm..." "No~" he teased. "I'm just kidding! Come here!" He said as he had a wide grin and his hand held out. "Thanks, Kokichi." I sighed thankfully, giving him a smile.

He pulled me on the ice slowly, trying to make sure I don't fall. His hands were warm in mine, I blushed a light pink. I tried to get off of my face but I got stuck in his purple eyes. I snapped out of my daydream when he asked me if I was ok. "Oh, yes I'm ok Kokichi, thanks for asking." I smiled at him. "No problem" he said as he smiled back at me with closed eyes.

We were skating for a while until we took a break. "Hey I heard there is a fast food near here, we can go there if you'd like!" Kokichi suggested. "Sure, I wouldn't mind!" I said with a small smile. "We can walk there."

As we were walking there, Kokichi spotted a cat and picked it up. Things didn't go so well afterwards so you had to take him to the convenience store to get some bandaids. "You really shouldn't have picked up a wild cat, Kokichi" I said blankly. "You're lucky it didn't bite you." I said as I patched him up with bandaids. As I was putting the last bandaid, he held the side of my face. I could feel my face getting hotter. He was trying to get a reaction out of me but I ignored him. "Thanks (Y/N) for helping me!" "I wouldn't know where I would be without you!" He said gleefully.

As we finally got to the fast food restaurant that Kokichi was talking about we went inside and ordered our favorite foods.

Kokichi walked me home that night. "Soo~" "(Y/N) did you like our date?" He asked looking at me with a stupid smile. "Sure, I liked our date if that's what we're going to call it." I replied blushing slightly. As we walked up to my house he got my attention to say something. "Wait! I forgot something!" "This wouldn't be a date without this!" He exclaimed. I was confused until he pulled out a box, and as I opened it, it was another checkered scarf. The same one that I knitted him but badly done. "Neeheehee! I think I did WAY better than you!" He said. I thanked Kokichi with a wide smile plastered on my face. "Aw thanks Kokichi!" I said sweetly but with sarcasm.

"But that's not it!" He said as I was on the porch of my house. He quickly ran up to me. I looked up/down at him. (He's 5'1) "Theres one more thing I want to give you!" He explained to me with a cheeky grin on his face. "If you're ever cold because of Winter, that's why I got you the scarf, but I have something else to warm you up! He then gave me a quick kiss on my lips. "Neeheehee! I know you want another, but you'll have to wait till' our next date!" He said running off with his purple hair bouncing. I stood there, at my door, still trying to process what just happened.

At least I'm not cold because of my hot red face...
