At times we pray,
That one person will stay.
Saying how it's the 'right person,
Wrong time.'
But isn't that a little cliche?
How we wish and wish
For something more.
How we wish and wish
For change.
But what if it wasn't the 'right person,
Wrong time?'
What if instead it was the 'wrong person,
Right time?'
The pain of fights,
And being right.
The heartache and misery
There to teach love and acceptance.
