A lot of blood was shed
Due to not wanting to hurt others,
Due to choosing to be hurt,
Rather than hurting someone else.
Working to death,
Struggling to live.
Only to end up in a never ending cycle of loneliness.
"You know what happens when you play neutral?"
A whisper of the past,
A not so distant memory.
"Everybody loses in the end."
Pain.
Suffering.
Loneliness.
All stem from selflessness.
Of always playing to help others.
Of not wanting to help yourself.
A loss for you,
Of the world.
But that's just how the world is.
It's horrible,
Feeling selfish,to make yourself better.
The world is lost,
It is a horrible place.
