Chapter 34

Third person POV

-a few years before-

Ji-woo hugged her knees as she cried.

Life was just going down hill, Taehyung was ignoring her and nothing in life was turning out as she wanted. More of it was just turned upside down.

She looked up hearing a familiar knocking, she sighed as she got up angrily.

She walked open to the window before swinging it open, in walked Hyeon.

"I swear- I've told you to fuck off . . . but you- you're something else," Ji-woo spat in his face. "Well, thank you very much," he said bowing down.

"I'm so done with you chasing after me," Ji-woo said before she walked over to her bed, slowly sitting down before letting her head lean against the headboard.

Hyeon just watched from a far- if only you knew Ji-woo . . .

"Why are you here? I told you to stop following me- if Taehyung finds out he'll murder you," "Not if I murder him first," Hyeon said with a devilish grin.

"You're literally one of his closest friends- what do you think he'll think of you, once he finds out that you've been harassing me like this?"

"Oh- . . . that's only if he finds out. After all this stays between you and me, right hun?" Hyeon said winking, Ji-woo looked away trying to hide her flushed state.

"And . . . what if you find out that Taehyung isn't your mate?" "How can you say something like that?!" Ji-woo spat out, Hyeon just clenched his fist.

"There's no way he isn't my mate?! We're both fated to be together!" Ji-woo yelled. "We're literally the most perfect couple in the whole school- and your expecting us not to be fated mates?!"

"I think you have one of your screws lose- it's better if you get your brain checked out," "You're funny Ji-woo, that's why I want to date you."

"Well I don't want- you think it's fun being stalked?! Don't think I'm blind, I see you peeking from the window . . . watching me creepily," Ji-woo said as she cringed from the inside.

Hyeon could barely take this.

"You're still young Ji-woo, I would suggest being a little considerate of how you speak to me," Hyeon said. "You can fucking die for all I care?!" Ji-woo said.

That's was it.

Hyeon walked back to the open window and started climbing back out while Ji-woo just watched from her bed.

And just when Ji-woo thought she was going to get some peace and quiet Hyeon turned around and spoke again-

"You're delusional Ji-woo- I hope you think about your life choices. But . . . don't work I'll always be here. Ready to take you in- whenever your ready," He said smiling.

Ji-woo's heart fluttered at that but she looked away.
