CHAPTER 1: The Meeting

Ren slid his phone as soon as he finished tweeting. Notifications popping out from his phone while looking at the guy infront of him.

"Let's sit down, shall we?" the lady who wores a pink dress said. Ren guesses that she's jeno's mom.

Jeno is Ren's long time crush- he likes him since college. Ren is in his first year while Jeno is in his 2nd year. Now, Ren is already in his last year of college and Jeno already became a CEO on TECHNOLEE GAME COMPANY, their family's company.

Ren promised to himself to move-on, because he thinks it's impossible for jeno to like him back.

All of them seated  and discusses their agenda. The marriage.

Jeno's mom told them about the will his grandfather left and the handwritten letter that talks about jeno's marriage.

"So, it's already been decided?" jeno said while crossing his hands

"Yes dear" his father said

ren don't know what to say, he knows that he is already tied with someone. he already accepted his fate, that's why he wanted to forget jeno-but he didn't expect that it would turn out like this.

They started eating and the elders couldn't just stop talking about the marriage, they also talk about the success of their businesses.

"Ma'am, Can I talk to your son for a minute?" ren almost choke when a baritone voice said that.

"Of course, go ahead. And- oh- ren- could you please silent your phone? It's noisy" ren just nod to her mother at looks at jeno who is waiting for him to stand up.

They went to the mini garden of the restaurant.

"Hello, you are ren right? I know this is awkard for the two of us. I'm Jeno Lee by the way" jeno introduced himself first as soon as they arrived at the garden.

"Hello, yeah- I'm ren" he shyly said.

"So, are you okay with this? Are you okay marrying me?" jeno asked

The questions stunned ren for a second. He didn't expect that jeno would ask him that question.

"It's your grandfathers will right? Yes- I am okay with this. I am okay marrying you" ren said, not stuttering. "How about you?" ren asked him

Jeno fixes his hair before answering the question

"I am not okay with this" he said. Ren bitterly smiled at him- well- he already expected that answer.

"Understandable. I'm sorry if this happened to you. Perhaps- are you in a relationship right now?" he strongly asked.

"No, I don't have one, but- I do have a person who I cherish the most, and I'm still waiting for her answer" jeno said

this day won't really end- without me hurting :))- yeah- what a day! indeed, ren thinks. he just wishes that someone will interrupt their conversation.

"I'll just answer this call" ren said

"yeah- go ahead"

"Jeno- uh- i guess- we should talk again next time? Uhm- something really important came up" ren said

"Sure- I'll just tell your mom that you left early because there's an important thing you need to do" jeno said

"Yes- thank you" ren said and rushes to find his car.

Yes-- it's really important to stay away from you- because my heart can't take it anymore.
