Chapter 6

(Alex's Pov)

"...I have to leave the school..." Amber said. Those worlds she said played in a endless loop in my head.  My heart was in pain from hearing that... It was like my soul was threatening to shatter... I wanted to break down and cry... like today was my last day on earth... but I knew it wouldn't make the situation better for Amber because when I looked in her eyes... All I see is that her eyes were also on the verge of crying. Alexa was also shocked and I see her in a bit of annoyed and rage.

"What why?! All because of Jessica?!" Alexa hissed like she will be waiting for Jessica the next time she meets up with her, but Amber simply shook her head slowly. 

"It's not because of Jessica..." Amber said as she shook her head in sadness. Alexa and I stay still in confusion... If it wasn't because of Jessica... Then why...

"W- What... Then why are you leaving the school if It wasn't about Jessica?!?" Alexa sternly looks at Amber, wanting an answer on why her best friend has to leave while Jessica remains here. 

Alexa is asking the right questions... The same questions I would ask myself but... I was broken inside... I completely shut off...

"Well... I have to leave because something happens within my family... About my aunt and my mom wants me to take time off of school to be there for my aunt." Amber said as she looks at Alexa in the eyes.  Even though I understand that family is important... The thought of Amber leaving... Still left me in a state of despair...

"How long till you have to leave..." Alexa ask as I looked up at Amber to hear the answer as well but I wish I put my head down when I heard the answer. 

"I have to leave tomorrow morning..." Amber said in sadness. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse... Now knowing the love of my life has to leave the school in the morning... It had set me over the edge... And I have begun to cry badly. Amber kneels herself down to be at my face level and hugs me close. Amber then kiss me on my forehead.

"Alex I know you are sad... I am too... but don't think its the end for us... I love you so much" Amber said to me as she feel my cheek slowly. 

"I- I love you t- too Amber." I sniffed as I look at Amber as she looks back at me.

Amber: "Don't worry Alex, I'll give you my phone number so even tho I won't be here... We can always talk to each other." Amber said, trying to calm me down. I nod my head to Amber plan... But I'll still wish she didn't have to go... Alexa was thinking in the background but then she had an idea. 

"I know... How about one last movie night... NO WAIT A SLEEPOVER!" Alexa exclaims as Amber and I look at her and smile at her idea. 

"Yea we can do a sleepover" Amber said with a smile as I get up gently off the ground. 

"Yea ok... I'll sleep on the couch". I smiled slightly until Alexa said something that made Amber and I frozen in place.

"Oh no Alex~, You're sleeping on the same bed with Amber." Alexa said teasing both of us with a wink. Amber and My face blush red about hearing that tonight both of us are sleeping on the same bed.

"S-Sure A-Alex can sleep w-with me." Amber said, still blushing as I was.  I was not ready to hear that out of Alexa at all. Mind you, This is the same Alexa who blocked me and Amber from kissing TWICE! I nervously nod my head to agree with Alexa's plan. So the sleepover started to start and so far I'm not sure if I'm gonna last tonight.

Alexa: "Alex wears this blindfold, please." Alexa said to me as she hands me a blindfold to wear. I looked directly at her, confused on why she has a random blindfold in the dorm.
