THE WHOLE class began socializing then, Kirishima returning to his previous spot between Bakugou and I. Kirishima could tell that I was practically dumbfounded with the way Aizawa addressed the class, because I could hear him snicker from next to me. "Yeah, we all had that same reaction," He finally spoke, leaning on Bakugou's desk. It seemed that the blonde was still being stubborn, as he kept his gaze out the window. But to me, it looked like he was enjoying the company of his friend, even if they didn't speak.

I looked at the red head, my eyebrows furrowed in a lingering confusion. "Are all of the teachers like that?" I asked, slightly worried for his answer.

He laughed again and shook his head. "Nah, most of them know what their doing. Present Mic-sensei is actually the exact opposite of that," He answered, glancing over at Bakugou with a slight concern.

I sighed before readjusting, now straddling my seat. "Japan really is different from America. . ." I kept my eyes kind of low, suddenly reconsidering my decisions.

Kirishima seemed to notice this, and he instantly tried to drag me out of that thought process. "You're from America? But your Japanese is perfect!" He complimented. This made me smile.

"My father was an immigrant from Japan. Before now I had never been here myself, but my grandparents would come and visit us a lot when I was a kid. My grandmother didn't know English, so my dad taught me Japanese."

Kirishima nodded at my explanation, and Bakugou glanced over at me, not even trying to hide the fact that he was eying me up. His gaze remained on the vibrant teal of my clothes a little too long before he decided to speak again. "And the prison fit?" He asked, doing his best to seek uninterested. It almost looked like he was analyzing me, deciding on whether I was friend or foe.

I sighed, not exactly up for explaining. I looked around the room, suddenly realizing how full it was. There were so many people. It made me unbelievably anxious. I could feel my legs start to bounce, but I couldn't stop it. I put my hand on my knee, trying to stop it from moving. I couldn't help but eye the class around me, my anxiety peaking again.
And to think that one of them-

Bakugou snapped in front of my face, forcing my attention back to him. "Hey, I asked you a question," He snapped.

"Right," I muttered. "right, sorry. Until they can officially clear my name, I'm being held as a prisoner."

He gave me some kind of look. He wasn't shocked, but he didn't seem like he was expecting my answer. "Then why the fuck did they send you here?" He asked, his posture stiffening.

This kid has some serious anger issues. I like him.

He'd literally kill us at any given chance. Are you okay?

I backed away momentarily. Kirishima noticed this, and slapped Bakugou's arm. "They want me on the heroes side. . . Because of my quirk," I answered, relaxing a bit at Bakugou's sudden mood shift.

Kirishima nodded. "That makes sense. I was pretty much powerless against it. You sounded like a completely different person, too!"

"That's because I was."

The bell rang again, signifying that it was time for us to head out to the field. I pretty much just followed Kirishima everywhere, which is exactly what he instructed me to do for the time being. At least until I got used to everything.

We all stood around now, waiting for instructions from Aizawa. Everyone was tightly packed, making me feel extremely uncomfortable.

"Alright," Aizawa finally spoke, looking down at a paper. "We're doing individual battles today. There will be three rounds, and you'll be paired up with a different person each round. You all understand?"

"Yes sensei."

"Good," He said, then listing off pairs for the first round.
"Mineta and Ojiro."
"Todoroki and Uraraka."
"(L/n) and Midoriya."

He continued listing off more names that I didn't know, but I simply looked around to see if I could find who I was paired up with, despite having no clue of anyone's names. Once Aizawa finished speaking, everyone split into their announced pairs. Before walking away, Kirishima wished me luck. I was confused at this, but before I had time to ask, the greenette from the hospital approached me.

"Uhm- Hey, (L/n)! Good to see you again," He smiled, seemingly nervous as he spoke to me.

I looked at him, taking the time to analyze him. I assumed someone had a healing quirk, because outside of myself, I didn't know anyone could heal that quickly. "Oh, so your name is Midoriya then?" I asked, taking a deep breath.

He nodded, smiling softly as a faint blush appeared in his cheeks. "Yep! Midoriya Izuku." It was then my turn to nod to him.

"If I may ask, what is your quirk?" I asked, walking beside him as we went to our training area. He seemed to panic at the question a little bit, stammering over his words. I carefully put my hand on his arm, stopping his from speaking. "It's alright, how about you just show me, yeah?"

Midoriya took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah, thank you." I shook my head, patting his arm and assuming my fighting position. "Oh, uh, my quirk does hurt me when I use it, so I want to try and limit it as much as I can. Is that alright?"

"That's alright, we'll focus on just hand to hand, then."

"Right! And how well do you-"

"(L/n)." Aizawa approached me, his hands staying stuffed in his pockets as he approached me. "How are you feeling? You're sure you're up for training today?"

I gave Midoriya an apologetic look. He shook his head and lowered his guard, giving me my time. "Yeah, I'll be fine. Doctors released me for a reason, right?"

Aizawa nodded, pulling something out of his pocket. "If you use your quirk, I have spare medicine for you. Just don't push yourself, okay?"

I rolled my eyes, smiling a bit. "What, did Doctor Yuuki give you orders too?" I teased lightly, crossing my arms over my chest.

"Yes, actually."

My smiled faded and I looked down, my arms falling down to my side. "Alright, I won't push it."

Aizawa nodded and pat my shoulder before leaving me and Midoriya again. "Everything alright?" The greenette called, a look of concern washing over his face.

"Yeah," I confirmed. "Everything's fine. Let's just get started."

Right then, we both assumed our fighting positions, wasting no time in charging towards each other.

I couldn't even count to ten before Midoriya had me pinned to the ground.
