ELARA STUDIED EVERYTHING THAT made up the forbidden room. The two double doors leading into it, the black, old knob. The chipped wood around the edges, the faded white color.

Everything that was off-limits to her.

Every day she'd watch Klaus walk in and out of that room after spending hours at a time inside. It was an important place to him. So important that she was banned from it.

Of course, he didn't trust her. He knew how curious she was. He made sure to lock it whenever he came out.

That only made Elara worry about it even more. So she watched every time he came out. She tried to see what was inside, but he never opened up far enough to see.

She knew he painted in there. He was an art man, she knew that was his place, but what was so important that he didn't want her or anyone else seeing?

Klaus, Rebekah, and Hayley walked behind each other down the stairs. Elara tore her eyes away from his room to look at them.

Rebekah wore a beautiful black dress with a small bow in the front. She had a black hairpiece and necklace on to finish off the look.

She was purely beautiful.

Elara couldn't help but drift her eyes down to the other Mikaelson. The Mikaelson in a suit. The suit hugged his body perfectly.

She swallowed looking away, "have fun," she whispered. He wanted to say something to her, but she was quick to get up and head out to the backyard.

Rebekah and Hayley gave him sad eyes, "she'll come around," Hayley tried to reassure him. Klaus wasn't her favorite person, but he was to Elara, "she has to."

Hayley walked over to the couch sitting down, grabbing the journal off the table that she was reading.

The siblings left for their party, their plan intact.

Hayley continued to read the journal learning about the Mikaelson's early days in New Orleans.

Elara had her feet in the pool with her arms crossed over her stomach.

She looks up at the sky looking at all the stars. She let out a heavy breath, hanging her head.

"I need help dad."

She heard the sound of leaves ruffling and jumped. She stood up looking around, "you're not supposed to be out here." She heard a voice behind her and let out a scream.

She saw a woman and placed her hands over her mouth.

"What the hell. Who are you?" The back door opened and Hayley rushed out with an iron in her hand, "are you okay?"
