The week had gone by in a flash and there hadn't been any new attacks. Ade also felt like things between her and her mates had chilled with Emily making surprise visits every now and then.
It was well past midnight when Ade woke up from a dream, hearing something familiar. She listened to any abnormalities, but couldn't hear anything out of the usual.
She slowly rose up to sit on the bed, and in the moonlight she could see the dark silhouettes of her princes.
She couldn't hear the voice again, but something told Ade that she was being watched, when she remembered the balcony behind her and the memory from earlier made her skin crawl.
She tried to mindlink the sleeping men, knowing that the link wouldn't work, to voice her disstress.
Hopelessness made her eyes water. She felt so helpless, but she had to do it. She had to find what made her skin crawl.
She gathered herself and turned around to check the balcony doors, only to face what she had most feared. Behind the glass was a man with red, glowing eyes. And it wasn't any man. It was the one who had kidnapped her from the royal castle.
Right then Hermes turned in hia sleep, only to feel like something was not right. He opened his eyes stood up, noticing Ade, who was stood frozen in front of the balcony.
"Ade? What is wrong?" Hermes asked, finally waking his brothers up. Ade didn't answer.
The man in front of her smirked and pulled something out of his pocket. He set it on the small table on the balcony, looked at Ade and bowed. Then he disappeared.
"What the hell?!" Ares roared and ran to the balcony with the other men right behind him. "Hermes?" Ares growled and in a fraction of a second, both of them were on the ground, looking around for the vampire.
Ade also stepped outside to the balcony. She looked down at the small table. The vampire had left an envelope on the table with her name written on it.
"What is it?" Eros asked after noticing Ade.
"It looks like a letter. I think it is for me." She said, grabbing the letter with shaking hands. It was to her. She looked at Eros again and opened the envelope. It had a card inside.
