Ares and Hermes walked inside. The vampire had gotten away and they were mad. The vampire had gotten away.
"You sure you're alright?" Hermes worried.
"Of course. I just fell into the only mud-pit the beach has." Ares convinced him and managed to even laugh at his bad luck.
In the cabin Emily was waiting them with already set, huge breakfast. Eros was already eating and Emily was telling him something, with shining eyes.
"Oh. Hi Em..." Hermes greeted.
"Oh you have out done yourself again." Ares complimented, looking at the table full of food.
"Of course. I heard rumors, that you have been eating at the packhoise everyday and gotten food here from there. Your protected apparently doesn't know anything about cooking." Emily said, but you could hear the distaste from her voice. She wasn't fond of the princes' latest mission.
"Ade? You are right about that one." Ares muttered.
"Where is Ade by the way?"
"I guess she wasn't hungry. She took couple bites out of a bread and went somewhere. Maybe upstairs? If I've understood correctly she isn't allowed to leave the cabin." Emily said with out a worry.
"That is not like Ade. At all." Eros frowned and started getring up from the table.
*I can go check in with her. You eat. I will be going upstairs for a shower anyways.* Ares linked and turned around to leave.
"Aren't you eating? I made fetacheesepie." Emily asked, flabbergasted.
"I probably should shower first. It won't take long." Ares said, smiling slightly to Emily, and walked upstairs. At the top he halted.
'Why is it so quiet?' Was his first thought. He went to the bedroom door abd knocked.
No answer.
He opened the door and checked in. The balcony door was wide open and that was when he became alarmed.
*Into the bedroom. Now!* Ares linked.
He listened around, and in the quiet he could hear Ade's faint heartbeat. Ares stepped into the room and suddenly he felt like his world hed stopped. Ade was laying unconscious between Ares' and Hermes' beds in a pool of blood.
He almost ran to Ade, looking for the source of blood and soon found it. The blood was still slowly running down Ade's neck to the floor.
"Fuck. FUCK!" He roared and lifted her into his arms and ran out of the room, where Hermes and Eros had just came to, turning pale at the sight of their protected and mate, bloody and unmoving.
"Check the room and I'll call Stefanos, so he'll be expecting us." Ares said with his golden eyes shining through, the wolf in him showing.
Ares ran for the pack hospital as fast as he dared, with Ade in his arms. He hoped that it was not too late.
