Chapter 2, Mormon secrets

Alex Miller was not your average mormon boy... he had a secret that no one, not even Gracie knew.

Alex grew up with eight siblings which is apparently normal to mormon people. Somehow, that's what pulled Gracie towards him. She loved how thoughtful and kind he was with them.

What she didn't know though was that as soon as she looked away, he would start fighting them. I'm talking full on, hair pulling, feet kicking, curb stomping his little siblings. Alex hated kids, but knew Gracie loved them. So, he pretended to be the perfect little angel mormon boy everyone desired.

Little did Grace Mae know... Alex had been stalking her for years. Like, in a weird, yandere way. Like, Joe from YOU way, like it was bad. He would wait outside her window every night and wake up to her beautiful, flawless, porcelain skin she naturally woke up with. Alex was obsessed with Gracie since the moment he met her.

But this wasn't the only immoral deed he partook in, he dated before the age of 16 which is discouraged by the church of moman whatever. This is some serious sinner stuff so he isn't going to Mormon Heaven and definitely isn't destined to be Gracie's soulmate.

The next day, Gracie woke up with a weird feeling... almost like someone was watching her. Gracie just figured she had to take a shit, so that's what she did instead of checking her window for a crazy stalker.

After she took her morning shower and did her little routine, she still had this aching feeling in her chest about what went down with Alex the other night. Gracie thought Alex was mad at her, when really he just hated to see her cry.

She went to school with her head down, slowly pacing the hallways. 'Great', she thought, ' a B day. Just as I thought this day couldnt get any worse.' She gracefully strutted into the classroom, all eyes on her. Everyone just couldn't take their eyes off her. The way her hair perfectly fell over her shoulders, the way her blue eyes glanced at everyone, stealing their breath, and the way she bit her lip to hide her smile when she got nervous.

Gracie walked over to her seat and quietly sat down alerting the entire class with her depressive state. As the teacher slowly paced back and forth in the front of the classroom Gracie waited for the bell to ring. It felt like days had already passed by the time it finally decided to blare.

Gracie sat up and walked to her German class knowing the worst part of her day was about to start. When she arrived perfectly on time she was greeted by her annoying and overly red wearing classmate, Riley. 'This day just couldn't get any worse' she thought as she sat down.

"Hallo" said Gracie as she greeted her teacher with the limited German she knew. Her teacher asked if she was alright and the only thing Grace could respond with in German was ja. This then led to her teacher complimenting her hair and how perfectly perfect she was.

The rest of the day wasn't any better. Gracie just couldn't bring herself to go back to Chick fil a to see her past love. It hurt her heart too much. The rest of the day, everyone admired Gracie's perfect perfectness from afar while she felt as if nothing was going her way.

When Gracie arrived home she found that someone had been in her room. Using her light yagami skills she detected that there was some kind of disturbance. Something was off. Whether it was the shift of a pillow or one pen less in her perfectly organized pen holder, something had changed. Little did she know Alex,  the Mormon boy, planted a camera in her room so he would always be close to her. It was also because he didn't feel like walking and waiting outside her window anymore, finding it to be tedious. He placed a pen camera in Gracie's perfectly organized pen holder and had a bird's eye view of the entire room, not for perverted reasons.

That night Gracie slept uncomfortably feeling as if she was being watched. She constantly rolled over and ended up wrapping herself in her jumbo XXL sized comfy blanket. When Grace May woke up for school she discovered that her alarm didn't go off and that it was already 7:50. Her amazingly perfect schedule had been disrupted and she was now in a rush to get to school.

In a scramble, she quickly ran to brush her teeth, hair, put on her clothes, and put on deodorant, even though she never smelled. She hurriedly jumped on the bus, hoping the driver would cut her some slack. Since she was so beautiful and perfect, he couldn't help but let her on for free. Once she got to the school stop, Gracie wondered if it was worth it, or if she should just skip. But, knowing Gracie, that was never really an option. She showed up looking effortlessly amazing as always but super late. Gracie missed the first period however and wasn't too bothered by it.

Today was an A day for Gracie, meaning today was going to be a good day. The worst part of the day was biology first. She meets with her besties Abby and Molly and walks to class. She slowly, painfully, walks into biology, turning heads, as usual. She sits next to Quinn and goes on and on about Alex.

She had not realized she didn't think about him today yet, and she couldn't tell if that was a good or bad thing. Quinn grew annoyed, but still attentively listened, because there was nothing else to do. Little did Gracie know, Quinn was recording the whole conversation the entire time. Quinn posted it on her story gaining attention from a Mormon senior boy, Ethan, that Gracie had been talking to. He became jealous. Ethan hated the idea of Gracie obsessing over another man, a man that wasn't him. He was desperate and in need of love and began seeking her out again.

Ethan snapped her with a ceiling pic hoping that this initiative would awaken something in her. Ceiling pics from white boys are sexy after all. There was no response from Gracie, as her mind was too far away. Too busy thinking of the big brown mormon eyes. Gracie missed Alex and could only think of him. Ethan was the farthest thought in her brain, the size of an ant compared to Alex. This however, didnt stop the jealousy forming in Ethan's brain. He had to get Gracie back.
