I was currently hanging out with my friend Whitty, we were hanging out in the woods because.. Carol permitted us? Does that work as an excuse??-
I snapped out of my thoughts as I felt Whitty gently pat my shoulder, causing me to look over at him.
"Hey, uh, [Y/N]? Why did you bring me here?"
Whitty asked, his voice sounded so tired. And scared. Understandably so. I shrugged, grabbing my phone as I plug it up to the Bluetooth speakers I got. Whitty looked at me, confused.
I began searching through my song playlist, humming a bit.
"Hey, Whitty?"
"Huh. What, [Y/N]?"
"You know how I kept calling you a 'big shot' and Carol a 'hochi mama'?"
"Y- yeah?"
"I've been quoting a character."
"I- OK???"
"Yeah. His theme is B A N G I N G. Imma let you listen"
"I- OK. As long as it won't get us in trouble."
"Why would listening to BIG SHOT get us in trouble????-"
I hit play on Big Shot, setting my phone down as I waited for it to drop the beat.
When it DID drop, I began humming along lightly, dancing awkwardly to myself. Oh damn. I could feel Whitty staring- I offered Whitty a hand, he looked at it confused before giving me a high five. Sir. That's not what you're supposed to dO-
I shook my head, amused.
Whitty looked at me, confused.
I. I don't know how to continue from this.
I eventually sat down on the grassy floor, patting the space next to me. Whitty eventually joined me on the ground. We sat in silence, save for BIG SHOT PLAYING CONTINUOUSLY LOUDER BY THE SECOND IN THE BACKGROUND HOLY FUCK- (my mom has this problem with her speakers lol-)
After a while, our hangout session ended as I packed up my things. Whitty helped and turned to me.
"I uh. Well. This one was.. Awkward, but I still enjoyed it."
"Hah, so you DID like it!"
"[Y/N], quiet down-"
"I TOLD you it was the bomb!!"
