"I know" James said while stepping out of the car.

I wanted to get out and open the door too, but James rushed over to my side to open it for me.

"I'm a gentleman, remember." He chuckled and remembered me of the first time we met.

The building looked large and modern. The entrance was huge, like enormous, and there were posters about some kind of art exhibition next to it. As I've said before, I loved anything that had to do with creativity, so I was really excited for what he was about to show me.

We walked towards the entrance doors, but when I came closer I saw it was dark inside and closed. The entrance was dimly lit, but there were no people inside as far as I could see.

I shot James a questioning look, "It's closed?"

"This way" he took my hand and let me to another way in. His big hands around mine did all kinds of things to me, though I doubt he noticed, as I tried my best to hide the effect he had on me.

We walked around the huge building until we were fully behind it and then James stopped us in front of a back entrance.

"Are we going to break in?" I whisper-yelled shocked. James laughed shaking his head and looked at me.

"What kind of person do you take me for Cher, a criminal?" he laughed amused and got keys out of his pocket.

Stunned I walked in after him. I wondered how he got those keys. When he typed a code to shut off the alarm, I thought that he could even be the owner of this huge building.

James turned on a few lights and showed me through a large hall. There were white panels everywhere splitting the  huge hall in sections.

"How-" I said utterly confused. The hall was massive and made me feel even tinier than when I was standing next to James.

On full speed we walked through the sections, while I tried to catch a glimpse of the beautiful paintings every chance I got.

"I made some of the paintings in the back. Nothing serious though." James shrugged like it was nothing.

We both knew he was lying. But I was never someone to question other people a lot. If he was ready to tell me whatever secret it was, he would. I couldn't expect him to trust me with all kinds of personal information if we had only just met, so I kept my mouth shut and silently enjoyed the beauty of this place.

"Wow , the person who thought of this must be brilliant." I looked at a set of colorful paintings, in the corner of my eyes I saw James look at me.

"Can I see your paintings?" I looked up at him, biting my lip to stop the hide the huge smile from curiosity and excitement trying to break out.

James gaze quickly flickered to my lips and then back to my eyes, but he didn't make a move and motioned me to come with me.

I noticed James was deep in thought when we walked towards his paintings. Unlike the smile he had worn on his face since we came here, James was now slightly frowning.

"This is one of my many projects. I made these a while ago." We were now standing in a quite large room and there were a few paintings exhibited.

I chuckled when I saw a painting called 'triple team' which immediately caught my attention. "Creative." I cocked up one eyebrow not really sure what to say otherwise.

I felt James eyes on me, studying my reaction and it made me self-conscious.

I didn't really know the goal of these paintings. Was it to amuse the public? Or to express hidden feelings somehow?
