"Push 5 of EPI!" Bailey yelled.
"Dr Bailey!"
"Push 5 of EPI, Avery!" Bailey yelled again, tears threatening to fall down her face.
"Dr Bailey, we lost her." Avery turned off the machines.
"Time of death 4-"
"No!" Bailey yelled and started CPR.
"Time of death, 4:43PM" Avery said begging his voice to stay strong, he hated seeing Bailey upset because she never got upset. It seemed to remind him of his mother crying.
"Everyone out. Now!" He yelled and as everyone filed out the room he walked round to Bailey and slowly wrapped his arms around her pulling her of her.
"She's gone." he pulled her back and watched on as she turned and hugged him, something she had never done.
"Ssh, it's OK." he gently rubbed her back as she sobbed into his chest. Moments later she took a deep breath and stood up straight.
"I'm sorry for that. Thank you, Jackson." she nodded but couldn't look him in the eye.
"Dr Bailey"
"No, Jackson. If you don't mind I would like to go phone my fiancé as he will be finished work in LA now." she walked out the door and headed straight to an on-call room.
"OK then." Jackson said before covering up Rebecca's face and leaving her in peace.
"Dr Kepner a word please." Jackson grabbed Aprils arm and dragged her to a corner.
"Wha- Jackson what are you doing?" She squirmed but he was too strong so it was no use.
"I just got in from helping Lexie with her dress I need to get to work." she said to him as he looked about looking for someone.
"OK these next few seconds mean nothing and well do these next few mean nothing to you? Never mind. OK forget these few seconds ever happened. Just smile real quick and look into my eyes."
"Uh OK." She quickly smiled and looked into his eyes. As he looked into her eyes and watched her face.
"Thanks." he smiled and ran off again before she could ask anymore questions.
"Uh you're welcome?" She walked back to her interns very confused.
