GOD DAMMIT THIS MAKES FOUR I NEED A LIFE PEOPLE, HELP.

Levi's P.O.V. (Present Day)
I leaped up from the couch I'd been laying on and yelped. "Holy shit," I gasped, sweat beading across my forehead. I wiped it away and started pacing back and forth, gathering my senses. I don't know what I've been smoking, but that dream was some freaky shit, man, I thought, then realization donned on me as I recalled bits and pieces of it.

Oh my god, it wasn't a dream.

Hurriedly, I reached for my phone, not giving two shits that the person I was going to call was probably beyond pissed at me. "Hanji!" I screeched into the mic as soon as she picked up. I was surprised she did at all, but relieved as well. "Describe the day that Eren and I were executed. Was it raining?"

"Yes...?"

"And thundering, too, right?"

"Yeah, but Levi, what's going on?"

"I just dreamed of it... Well, I remembered in my sleep. Hold on, can you dream of memories? Never mind, that doesn't make sense. Anyways, I-"

"Levi, calm down! I don't understand what you're talking about!" Hanji yelled. I rolled my eyes and flung my arms out irritably. "The day Eren and I were executed in our past lives!" I hollered.

"What about it?"

"I dreamt about it just now. It was...pretty gruesome."

"Well no duh, midget. You got your head chopped off by an egoistic maniac whose only desire was to murder some kid he didn't even know."

I groaned, ignoring her nickname for me. "Please do not remind me," I muttered. "I'll kill him if I ever find him in this life, whether he has his memories or not."

"Revenge?"

"Avenge."

"Ah."

"Anyways, have you gotten ahold of Eren?" I sighed, pinching the bridge of my nose. "I wanna talk to him. I feel like an ass for how I treated him earlier."

"What did you say? or do?" Hanji asked. Reluctantly, I told her about how I'd told him to leave without an explanation, and I didn't forget to mention the heartbroken look in his eyes or the pain in my chest after he left. After a moment of silence, she spoke up, rather rudely. "You're a bloody idiot, you know that?" she said, her voice teasing but serious all the same. "Yes, four-eyes. I'm aware of this," I groaned. "And don't say 'bloody'. You're French, not British or Australian."

"Technically, Heichou, I'm American."

"Technically, four-eyes, you're a fucked up scientist who ran experiments on the same things that tried to kill us."

"Aha! So you remember!"

"Unfortunately," I muttered, and she laughed. "I'll call Eren, since he's probably ticked at you," she offered. "Okay," I agreed. "Let me know what he says."

We exchanged goodbyes, and I flopped back onto the couch, tossing an arm over my eyes and sighing heavily. Everything went to shits, and I couldn't help feel like it was my fault. Then again, how could it be? Well, if I hadn't kept my mouth shut about my premonitions, then none of this would have happened, right?

Um, wrong.

I think.

Fuck, I didn't know!

I breathed heavily, anxiety biting at my stomach. I was worried about Eren. What if he went off and did something stupid, got himself hurt? Then what would I do? Blame myself, that's what. And I hated when I did that. It made me feel like a dick.

Then again, you are what you eat.

Ten minutes later Hanji called me back. "So?" I asked, sitting up as nervousness twisted my stomach into knots. "He didn't answer," Hanji explained. "I called him maybe six times and he didn't pick up. Did he leave his phone at your house?"

"I would have heard it ring."

"Maybe he turned it off. Or maybe he went somewhere and left it at home. Do you know where he would've gone?"

I shook my head and sighed. "No. That I knew of, he only came to my house, and I don't know of any other place he would go."

"Want me to pick you up and we'll go to his house?" Hanji suggested. "Yeah, be here as soon as possible," I ordered. "I'm worried about the brat."

"Me too, Levi," she whispered, then hung up.

As I asked, the door knocked five minutes later. I didn't even bother checking who it was. I simply grabbed my coat and keys, and we left. "We could just walk," I said as we rode down the elevator. "It's only twelve minutes away." Hanji chuckled. "Sorry, Levi," she smiled. "I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not one for exercise in this life. That's what Wii's are for." I rolled my eyes as the elevator doors slid open and we made our way out to Hanji's car. She ignored my bickering about how filthy the floorboard was (seriously, who just dumps pizza on the floor?) and sped off towards Eren's house while I navigated.

We pulled up next to his house beside his mom's car and tumbled out, tripping over our feet as we rushed up the steps and banged on the door. "Eren!" I screamed. There was no reply for a few agonizing seconds before Mrs. Jaeger answered the door. "Sweet Jesus, Levi! What is it!?" she questioned, her eyes wide and tired. "I'm sorry, Mrs. Jaeger," I said hurriedly. "I hope I didn't - er, we didn't - wake you. Is Eren here?" Mrs. Jaeger nodded. "Yes he came home a few hours ago, but he hasn't come out of his room since," she explained. "In fact, he seemed pretty upset about something. Did you do something?"

"No!" I argued. "No, no, I would never do anything to him without his best intentions in mind, but... I-I slipped up, and I need to apologize. Can you bring him out here, or better yet allow me in?" Mrs. Jaeger nodded and held the door open for me and Hanji. We scurried past her and practically sprinted to Eren's room as Mrs. Jaeger hollered at us to take our shoes off, but we ignored her in our hast.

Panting, I pounded on Eren's door, calling his name. I was expecting him to open the door, or mutter at me to go away, but instead I received no reply whatsoever. Fear twisted every muscle in my body painfully. God, please be okay, I thought as I took a deep breath, then barged into his room. "Eren!?" Hanji and I called, yet again receiving no reply. "He's not here!?" Hanji panted fearfully. I dragged my eyes over the room, searching for any signs of where his location might be, and was somewhat relived to find the bathroom door cracked open. I let out a heavy sigh and gently pushed the door open.

The sight which greeted me evoked a blood-curdling scream that would ring in my ears for the rest of my life.
