-Meanwhile at the Bridgerton Estate, Anthony's POV-

"Anthony, what's the meaning of this?" Daphne asked in disbelief as I stare down at the letter Isa put on the books before she left.

"Sister, I can assure you that I have indeed been faithful and never broken the promise," I said as I leer at the letter to see what was said, getting angrier by the minute at what I'm reading as my family is arguing in my ears.

She spouted all these lies on paper just to try to hurt me, by severing a connection that means so much to me.

"It's all not true, I did not step foot or anywhere near Siena, I wasn't with her that night. I was in my study, going through the ledger books," I responded as I look up from the parchment to see my family's reaction, which was stunned, "When I started courting Y/N, I went to Siena and ended it. Evidently, she thought to try to hurt me out of retaliation by going after Y/N."

"You better do something about it because you heard what Isa said, don't bother if you don't have anything good to do or say to her," Hyacinth said as Benedict and Colin walked in from following Isa.

"Benedict, Colin, I-," I started to say before Benedict interrupts with, "We talked to them, Isa has calmed down from her outburst with you and is sorry that she even did it, just cares deeply for her sister. Also, we have a message from Y/N."

"Does she still want to court me?" I asked a bit worried that the damage inflicted has been done too far to be fixed as Colin sighed and said, "It is on pause as of now, you have until the middle of next season or the end of it to decide if you're absolutely certain that you want to be with her in your future, but she did express to us that if you do find a better match, the courtship is over. She also mentioned something about having trust issues with you. So, you can't just say what is on your mind, you have to prove it to her." as I nodded yes to silently say, "Okay, I can do that."

"When will I be able to see her again?" I asked as I'm curious if Isa let off on that threat any.

"At Simon and Daphne's ball to conclude the end of the season, not before, she needs time to recover," Colin says as I nod in understanding and sighed to rub my hand over my face.

"I don't want any other girl, I want her and her only. She's your love match, don't lose her just as we just got her back!" I felt my younger self screaming at me in my head, prompting me to rub my temples to ease away a tension headache.

I will do my absolute best yet again to show her she can forgive me as well as put faith and trust in me again.

-Simon & Daphne's Ball, Two Weeks Later-

"I can't believe it's the end of the season," Isa says as she looks out the window, sad to see her first viewing of lavish events is coming to an end.

"It's okay Isa, it'll be back before you know it," I respond as I look at Charlie, "And how are you feeling about it?"

"It was nice to see Daphne pair up with the Duke, they're a good match, and also I'm glad you got to be reunited with the Bridgertons. If I can ask, how are you feeling about seeing Anthony face to face after what happened?" Charlie asked as I sighed.

I haven't seen him since the day the letter was sent to me. I just needed to take time for it to calm down before seeing him again, but  I am ready to see him now and talk to him again.

"I feel content from the time I took not speaking to or seeing him and also ready to converse with him again, he is still my- you know," I respond as Isa reaches over to put her hand over mine and Charlie did the same at the fact I almost said partner despite the courtship being paused.
