You had woke up earlier than Sophia and you immediately notice the drop in temperature. Thanks to the cold you had fully woken up. Still hearing the storm going on outside.

You had decided to eat a bag of chips not the best choice for breakfast but you didn't pack any breakfast foods because you weren't planning to be out this long.

Since you had already ate your only granola bar you had nothing else breakfast related untill you can go back outside. You began to look around again to see if there was anything that you had missed before you fell asleep.

Nope nothing you couldn't find a single thing that you didn't miss a single thing. 'wait I did that one scanner only needs a blue hand perfect.'

'But ill have to wait for Soph to wake up so that I don't leave her. In the meantime i'm going to check out that statue.' you then realized that the plushie you had grabbed the other day was still in your hand so you slid it into your pouch.

Walking over to the statue you began to touch it with your hands for the first time. "It's so soft" you said without realizing that you said it out loud. Because you were so busy feeling the statue you almost missed it.

A purr you began to look around quickly. 'Is their a cat in here?' You stood silent for a moment to see if you could hear it again. 'I could have sworn I heard purring but I guess that was all in my head. Maybe the cold is getting to me.'

For some reason you felt compelled to look closer at the statue. And when you did your blood froze.

'It's breathing.'

You began trying to keep a calm demeanor as to not let huggy know that you knew it was alive. You began to walk towards soph and started to gently shake her awake. "Mmm let me sleep" "no we need to keep looking for a warmer room alright."

"Alright fine" she began to get off the blocks "But where do we go n/n there's nowhere else." "No their is another way out theirs a door over there see." Sophia nodded now seeing the door that we hadn't noticed before.

The two of you began to walk over to the door. You shot the hand at the sensor and tried to open the door but it short circuited "damnit" you mumbled. "Well it looks like we-" Sophia was cut off by by the sound of keys jingling.

Your heart stopped after realizing where the sound came from. You turned around and began to walk towards the statue or at least what you thought was a statue. You looked towards the raised hand and saw a key. Before you were able to fire the grab pack and grab it you were knocked over and fell to the side.

"Are you crazy y/n!" You pushed Sophia off of yourself before she could finish her sentence. "Walking off on your own after that- that thing somehow got a key. You could have gotten seriously hurt" soph expressed with worry clear in her voice and facial features. You pat her shoulder "ill be fine I promise."

You went and grabbed the key from huggys hand with you grab pack. as you and Sophia walked away you muttered a small "thanks.... blue." You smiled at the nickname you gave him. It suited him well plus it was cute.
