hello, i'm silvur. welcome to this wc fanfic.

before we begin, i'd like to say thank you. the support i've received from my readers and followers has been... shocking, to say the least. so thank you for clicking on this story and choosing to check it out.

now, I'd like to address some things. i'd appreciate it if you could read through these, as they are rather important, but you don't have to!

firstly, LuneClan and it's beliefs. LuneClan is based on the idea of skill should be held the highest out of all the traits of a warrior. family is lower on the spectrum, and most of the time parents are either incredibly neglecting of their kits or expect too much from them. of course, there are many exceptions. additionally, LuneClan holds obedience at a high standard. rebellious apprentices get sent back to their nests early and betrayal leads to immediate expulsion. throughout this fic, LuneClan will slowly grow, blossom, and learn from their flaws. 

secondly, Frostwillow and Ambermoth. yes, they are both she-cats. yes, they are mates. yes, this means they are lgbt, and if you have any issues or problems with that, please click away. no lgbt hate is welcomed here. there will also be a male queen. i know you're raising your eyebrows. no, he is not bearing kits. no, he did not birth kits. he is a permanent queen. think of him as a caretaker that prefers to take care of queens and kits rather than live as a warrior.

additionally, there will be many flashbacks. they will be written in italic, and will typically be following Frostwillow's early moons as an apprentice.
