Chapter 34: Cruisin for a Bruisin

I had gotten everything packed for the cruise and I made sure this cruise was safe for her at this trimester. They have really amazing doctors at their hands on the ship to help in case of emergency including pregnancy labor. I don't know how I managed to book this place but it was also a relaxation trip for pregnant women under a lot of stress, which is what Sky needed. But other then that  what worried me the most was Luca's words and his presence that's gonna be there. I hadn't clue where this guy came from or why he'd come back so sudden but I was determined to find out.

The thing that shocked me the most was Josh's words, " oh I invited him, you may think him a nuisance but he may be able to help Sky's healing process." Many thoughts crossed my mind like what did this guy have that I couldn't do for sky, or if Josh knew this man had his hands on something dangerous. What I do remember though is me yelling at him for even thinking about inviting this guy. "You did this, what were you thinking?" I snapped. "Come on Sam, give the guy a chance, he's only here to help Sky," he said. I refrained from lashing out on Sky's best friend, and I didn't mention what Luca had with him because I didn't think it was wise at the moment.

I also wasn't ready to trouble everyone again with more threats after we just got Sky back. What I wished we could catch a break from everything for once in our life. I been trying to restore our hope for too long now and I was exhausted. I wanted our life to be easy again, before everything happened or maybe if we'd met another way where I wasn't brought through this hell hole. Maybe I could have given Sky a true happiness without a worry. I was hoping this trip can take the stress away and help her to relax and heal more for her and our children. As for me, I was still in stressful situations and it seems we was in trouble again.  I just wanted our life to be at peace since we suffered so much just me and Sky and our two beautiful babies. But I guess that was to much to ask.

We were at the ships entrance getting our bags taken from us and put in whatever rooms we had.   Sky was waiting patiently on a bench she seemed a bit at ease as she looked at the ocean. I missed that peaceful face so much. I walk over to her and kneel in front of her and I gently stroked her belly and kissed it softly as she smiled at me. I place my hand gently on her cheek caressing it, "Before you get on that ship I want you to clear your mind and leave all your worries on this deck baby girl, I will take care of everything right now, you just need to rest understood?" She doesn't argue or get upset , she just nods in understanding and kisses my lips softly.

I turn away after giving Sky some reassurance to only be disappointed when I see Luca arriving with a mischievous smirk. How I wanted to punch the man with all my might and wipe that snide smirk from his ugly face. I clenched my teeth some and ignored him, I didn't want to stress Sky at all on this trip. He smiles at me like he was completely innocent, as the ship starts to board passengers. I helped Sky stand and walk with her to get in the ship, I help her aboard from the dock to the ship . The water rippling beneath us as we walk over the small bridge. I help Sky balance and eventually we're on the ship followed by Josh, Kye, Zack, Crystal , Zack's sister, and asshole Luca. How I wanted to push him off the ship and hoped the ocean was as cold as the titanic, enough to freeze him but to my dismay it was sunny.

"Lovely day, isn't it?" Luca approached with an ugly grimace. At least that's what I saw it as and Sky just agrees politely. Luca gives me a snide smile and acts innocent. "Why don't we go see our room baby?" I ask innocently and she nods and gets up. I lead Sky into our room they chose for us on the ship, while the others went to find their rooms. I stay outside to speak with Luca, "I was hoping by some miracle you'd get hit by a car on the way here." I say with a fake smile. Luca pops a snack in his mouth he brought on board and smiles leaning towards me, "if anything, I'm the one driving." He says with a wink and walks away. Was he threatening me? I clench my fist tightly trying everything in my power not to hit him. I wanted to be a better man for Sky. "Watch your back Luca, you never know when someone might stab you in it." I say facing away from him and joined Sky in our chambers.

I walked in our room to take in the detail fully, it was gold and black mostly, the room was almost like a dream. It wasn't too huge, black walls and good trim, black and gold four post bed. We even have our own bathroom though it was quite huge but it was decent enough size to fit a big tub in there. Also filled with goals and black counters and toilet, golden carpet on a black floor. It was absolutely breathtaking, only the best for the mother of my children. I see Sky slowly unpacking, she actually looked relaxed and relieved for once. So I came behind her and hugged her from behind and she placed my hands on her tummy. She smiled and relaxed back against me, we both fit so perfectly with each other. She was truly my beautiful flower flowing through the breeze. I gently kissed her neck softly and held her. "My treasure."

Crystal approached with determination and anger, she knew Sam was trying to do better and hold himself back. Just because somebody chooses to restrain finally, doesn't mean she had too. She stomped closer to this mysterious man she'd never met. "Do I know you?" He said in a deep voice filled with arrogance. " it's beneficial for you that you haven't got to know me but it appears your luck has decimated." She says with warning. "Well aren't you just a charmer." He said, still confidently arrogant. How she'd love to beat that arrogance from him. "What do you want with Sky?" He seemed to have a small grin and turned slowly and caught sight of her. A hint of mischief gleamed in his eyes. "Whatever do you mean?" She gripped his shirt tightly. "Don't play coy with me, I'll unman you faster then you can blink."

Interest seemed to gather in his eyes, at how tough this young petite girl had become vicious. "Don't threaten me with a good time honey." He smirked. She really wanted to punch that stupid smirk right off his overly cheeky mouth. "I don't know what your planning but I won't let you, they have suffered hell on wheels to finally achieve some hope, I won't let you crush it." She stared at him intensively with a deadly gleam. "I will do everything in my power to make your life a living hell if you dare ripple their happiness even a bit." She spat at him and shoved him back.  Just as she did, before he could respond a red headed man approach them. "Is everything alright?" He gave Luca a warning glare and wrapped his arm around crystal protectively. "Everything is fine, I was just having a friendly chat." She smiled at Zack softly but glared at Luca one last time before turning away. "I look forward to it." Luca said while watching them walk away slowly.

Just who was this girl and how can someone so young be so vicious and pretty. Luca resided to his mini cabin and opened his journal. He then wrote more detailed info about this situation at hand and this other girl whom he had no clue of. He had a plan and he wasn't going to back down no matter who got in the way. He called and rang up the man on the phone. "I'll need some info on someone, she may be a threat to our plan." With aggravation he told him about Crystal some and Luca nodded to each word. "Very well, we will definitely need to move this extra eyesore and any others that may come up."
