Discretion is advised."Juliette" He called out my name as I looked through the heaps of paperwork on my desk. Honestly, if I had the option to leave, I'd do it without hesitating. Leon's hand crept onto my shoulder, gently rubbing it as he hovered over me.
"I have to see someone tomorrow for a piercing" I conversed, trying to explain my late night ventures. It was a bit of a shock for him to come by to my warehouse. It wasn't like him unless he really was worried. Then again, being in a relationship tends to make that anxiety worse.
"What is it?" He asked, slowly leaning in to have a closer view at the papers. Though I had some sketches of what it was supposed to look like, they weren't necessarily the best to explain what I was going to do. To be fair, the people I dealt with sometimes don't know what they're really getting into until the last minute with the needle or knife gets close.
"An eyelid piercing...I think they want both eyes though." I briefly explained, tossing the papers aside to turn to him in my chair. "That's not even the worse I've done" I chuckled dryly at this, my mind always detaching from the mental images I had to forever remember. I wasn't a psychopath. At least not yet. These things still had enough of an effect on me that I'd lose sleep over it all. Hours of tossing and turning only to be rewarded with an hour or two (if I was lucky).
"Let's get you home, the appointments tomorrow anyway" He shrugged, lifting me up from the office chair. His arms wrapped around ym waist as he lead me out and towards his vehicle.
"Wait, you never come by without having a reason..whats going on?" I asked now, reverberating back to my original thoughts. This only earned a shrug from him before he pulled away to get into the drivers seat. This just signaled me to get in as well so I could possibly get a reason. Even then, within the silence of the car, the passing vehicles being the only ambient sounds, he didn't answer. His eyes stayed attached to the road as he drove away. My mind still stuck on the question. Though I didn't say anything, I felt my heart begin to pounce in my ears as they rung. The ringing caused by the thoughts I recieved from the different scenarios playing in my mind.
"Remember that small town we went to on business? Months ago?" He asked curiously, his hands visibly gripping harder onto the steering wheel as he spoke. I swallowed hard, my throat starting to get tight and dry at the memories from that place. It was my first time ever going out with him anywhere. It was long before we even started referring to each other as more than just business partners. The day something ignited inside of me, leading to where I was now. Though because I didnt want him to sense my fear, I pushed the bad images away and just nodded. A light chuckle escaping my lips before I spoke,
"I wouldn't call it a town persay-" a small smile crept onto his lips.
"You know what I mean...I want you to go there." He concluded nonchalantly. As if this didn't just put a large damper on my day.
"You're trying to send me away?" I asked a bit quietly, to which he hums, questioning what I had just said. No time for deep breaths, "who the fuck do you think you are?" I asked a bit louder, my fist starting to curl. "Im not some whore for you to just send away whenever the fuck you want!" Loudly, I shouted and cursed him out. It wasnt until he abrutly yielded the car and turned towards me. His hand roughly reaching and pulling a fist full of hair into his grip. A small gasp escaped my lips as he glared down at me.
"Don't you fucking dare speak to me like that. Who the fuck do you think you are?!" His jaw clenched and his eyes darkened. "You're in love with me...remember that."
