Delilah Connors had seen a lot of shit throughout the years. Her time as a SHIELD agent, and subsequently an Avenger, could've only been described as chaos, pure unadulterated chaos. Some would say she had ample experience to deal with the mess she'd found herself entangled in.
To that, Delilah would simply say 'get fucked'.
Returning from ashes after five years without a single hair out of place had been the final straw for her. After one too many near death experiences, and one more literal in this particular instance, Delilah had decided that she wanted to experience life- a normal-ish one to be exact. Taking an early retirement, she'd hung up her metaphorical cape and moved back to her hometown hoping for atleast an ounce of peace.
Peace just simply wasn't an option for people like her.
Her picture of an easy life went up in flames the very second she moved into her new flat.
And all because of her adorable, Egypt-loving neighbour.
