Chapter 2: In another multiverse

A blue jacket skeleton walked calmly looking at the sky with a calm lazy smile as he took a walk in the small forest at mount ebbot. "Heh, this is quite peaceful, I should do this more often...Na" The skeleton spoke to himself amused before deciding it's time to go back.

When the skeleton turned around to take a short back home, something caught the corner of his eye that's a weird red liquid going through the bush. The skeleton looked at it curious before freezing on what the liquid is. Blood. The liquid is blood.

the skeleton quietly and cautiously yet quickly went over to the bush, worried on what the blood is coming from. But when he moved the bush branches out of the way, froze. His eye lights shrinking with shock and terror. A young child black skeleton stood in front of him laying on their back, blue tear marks on their face along with Blood puddling around the unconscious child. What happened? Where the parents? Why is the kid hurt? - Never mind the kid hurt and that's more important.

Quickly the skeleton went over to the child unsure if he should move the child. "Shoot, what do I do? I'm not good with this stuff. where papyrus when you need him. Think sans think" Sans spoke to himself but knew if he didn't act fast the kid would die. So, for now unsure if the child can be moved, pulled his hand out of his jacket green magic ready to use to heal. But before he could put his hand on the child, something black quickly jumps in front of the child, growling protectively.

making sans fall on his tailbone staring at the figure in shock. But the figure is a young large wolf that seemed goopy? Along with bright teal eyes, along with a small hint of purple. The wolf growled standing over the child protectively as if he was going to hurt them. Sans wasn't sure what to do. Not wanting to be wolf food. "H-hey. Buddy. I won't do anything. I just want to help." Sans gently spoke looking at the wolf who just bared his fangs revealing two unnaturally sharp fangs like a vampire.

Sans didn't move and neither did the wolf staring each other down, both silent. But the silence is interrupted by the groan of the child catching the wolf attention, who just whined and nuzzled the young child worried. This made sans eyes widen realizing that the wolf is protecting the kid. The wolf didn't know he was going to help. "Heya. Buddy, I just want to help." Sans spoke gently catching the wolf attention who just growled. sans didn't flinch this time before noticing the wolf is also injured, just as bad as the kid. Yet still standing strong as never. "I won't do anything. Promise." Sans spoke making the wolf blink before relaxing as if knowing sans hates making promises. "I'm just going to use healing magic so it's safer to move them. For neither of us knows how bad the wounds are. Alright."

This made the wolf nod as if understanding them. Then sans ignored the fact the goopy wolf could understand him and got to work on the healing.

(Small time skip) (the bad sanses doing the coffin dance)

Quietly sans walked out of the forest followed by the wolf who just limped next to him but kept glancing over at the child before looking straight again as if thinking. 

When sans finally got home, he kicked the door not able to use his hands. "Ah Sans your back." A female goat monster spoke opening the door with a gentle smile. "Hey tori. Sorry but this is an emergency and you're the best at healing magic." Sans spoke motioning with his head at the child. The goat monster gasped eyes wide in shock before quickly motioning them to get inside to heal. The wolf made no reaction as if knowing that they are going to help. But is tense.

Soon after the kiddo got healed and sans explained what happened to toriel who just nodded. Asriel and frisk walked over unsure while the wolf just growled, laying down next to the black tear eyed skeleton child. Only to stop when toriel petted his head gently before looking at frisk and asriel "Kids, go get doctor Gaster please." Toriel spoke gently while the kids nodded with an 'ok' and ran off, knowing it's a bad time to ask if their alright.

Soon Gaster came in, shocked to find the two injured souls, but soon helped. The wolf seemed surprised to see Gaster, as if it's not normal. The wolf made sounds as if talking to themselves before laying his head down and allowed Gaster and toriel to help both him and the boy.

"So, you got a name buddy?" Sans asked the wolf who just nodded not making a sound, now both of them are covered in bandages. "Ah ok. So, my guess your name is goopy for your well a goopy wolf that looks like you need a bath" teases the skeleton making the wolf look over at sans unamused at all, along with sorrow at the sentence 'you look like you need a bath". As if someone he knew told him that.

Sans frowned before asking "What do you want me to call you?" the wolf made a motion to the boy. "Asleep?" The wolf shook his head amused before making the same moton. "Dream?"

this made the wolf growl lowly baring his fangs. "Ok, ok not dream. Uh is it opposite of dream? Is your name nightmare?" Sans asked unsure, this made the wolf nod

"Well, it's nice to meet cha nightmare, I'm sans. Sans the skeleton. I would shake your hand- er- paw. But your injured and I don't want tori to burn me to a crisp" sans joked making the wolf smile slightly as best as a wolf could tired before laying his head down falling asleep.

-Somewhere in the mountains-

A mountain is seen before it went more closely to reveal a cave, the place covered in darkness along with a single skull seen partly in the ground. But suddenly a pink light slightly faded into view. Before a young girl, in a pink outfit walked out of the cave followed by a pink floating like thing next to them. Her brown and the bottom half light pink.

The child smiled before opening their eyes to reveal bright pink eyes. then the seen went black.

"It Seems the barrier is broken. Hm. let's go fix that. Shall we?"
