Chapter 9: reunited

Nightmare walked where he was felt like where he needed to go. But suddenly he saw a shadow run in front of him and ran into an alleyway followed by an angry human yelling out "GIVE THAT BACK YOU THEIF!!". Nightmare growled lowly, before running after the shadow. Also noting that the creature walked on four legs. He usually won't care, but he felt like following.

He ran into the area the creature went in, sniffing the air as he looked around sensing for emotion. But he felt none. Where did they- A shadow ran behind nightmare causing him to turn around and growl lowly as he made his well-known face and pounced where he last saw the shadow who quickly moved, making some chirps and growls, before they swifty jumped at him, clawing at his back. Challenging the king of nightmares.

Nightmare snarled. 'How dare they attack me.' he thought to himself as he quickly moved knocking the creature away. Causing a yelp as the attacker rolled away before standing up as quickly and moved in front of something protectively growling lowly. The creature turned out to be a small young cheetah with black eyes?

Nightmare paused for a second, also sensing that the other emotions was dull yet not at the same time...it's as if they lose emotions in the past...and why do they seem...so...familiar? Nightmare narrowed his eyes, now is not the time to think about that. He needs answers.

Nightmare vanished into the shadows which caused the other to tense as if recognizing that attack before snarling angrily as they moved around. Another yelp is heard making the cheetah to look over and chirp back, that was all the wolf needed. He suddenly appeared from the shadows jumping at the cheetah from behind and bit the scruff knocking the cheetah to the ground. Pinning the predator down and forced the cheetah to face him. "You dare attack the king of nightmares?" Nightmare snarled his paw on the cheetah who froze in shock. "B-boss?" The attack spoke in the language he understood, causing the wolf to stop growling, pausing. "Killer?"

The cheetah eyes widen with pure joy, before quickly knocking nightmare down with an 'oof' as the cheetah trapped him in a hug and licks purring happily. "Took you two long enough to recognize each other." Another voice spoke amused causing the cheetah to pause with the still stuck wolf who had the look of 'what just happened?'

In front of them was classic the fluffy cute cat who was just sitting there licking his paw calmly, before looking at them. "How long you been there?" Killer asked confused. "Long enough" as the cat moved a bit when three more forms run over knocking killer over and soon nightmare was being surrounded by the happy gang who was purring or making other sounds.

Nightmare was just stuck between his gang that was just flat out hugging him in their own way or licking his fur. Sense when did they start licking each other fur?!?!?...though it did feel comfortable. Nightmare took the moment to look at his family, noticing that killer was a king pattern cheetah, of course his eyes was still black with black tar dripping from his eyes.

He looked over to dust, ignoring that killer was licking his head happily with purrs. Dust was a brown and white spotted bobcat with his well-known eye color's. Dust seems to just be hugging the wolf in his own way around the neck, though was holding the wolf scruff which left him unable to move. Probably because they wanted to give affection and he doesn't always allow that.

Horror was a Southern Cassowary with red instead of blue and the horn seemed to be broken marking the broken skull he once had, along with his one eye was pure white showing that it was scared and possibly blind. He was just curled up around the group happily.

Cross was a tiny white tiger with stripes that slightly different and that the cub looked so fluffy. Right now, cross was just lying next to him nuzzling his head to nightmare side crying happily. CC or known as cross chara was there as well, a small black and white kitten that was still asleep who had classic walk over and lay down around them like a mother, who also a normal house cat with white fur and blue stripes.

Above on a trash can was fresh who was a rainbowed parrot? A Rainbow Lorikeet is he remembers right. "yo." was all the tired parasite bird said.

Blue was here too, but a rabbit who was hopped over, looking at nightmare happily, as he hopped over nuzzling the wolf happily.

Nightmare felt happiness and knew that error would be happy as well when he finds out...but right now he just needs to deal with being stuck by his idiots, who just cleaning his black fur or just cuddling up to him.

...

But he didn't know was that horrible things were happening where error was.
