Y/N PoV

Placing my hand on my hips looking around I sigh in delight looking at the interior of the rundown store I just bought. The floor was pulled apart, wallpaper folding on itself as it fell off the walls, a flickering light above me as an unpleasant smell whiffed through the place. My footsteps echoed as I turned around in one spot and a soft smile reached my lips, I was getting closer to reaching my dream; running a restaurant.

"Hello?" I placed my phone to my ear.

"Where are you? It's late out and I need a drink."

"Let's meet at Gogi, I'm not far from it." I suggest grabbing my coat from a broken chair.

"Alright, be careful."

I hum and hang up slipping my phone in my coat pocket and grab the store keys to lock up before making my way to Gogi.

Gogi was a barbecue restaurant that me and my friends would hang out at when we needed a catch-up or when we were just simply together and having fun. It was our escape when we needed it, and it looks like my friend needs one right about now.

"Hey." I huff sitting next to his large figure and glancing at the opened soju bottle and glass. "Can we get another glass, meat and soju?!"

"Yeah!"

"What's up?" I lean my arms on the table as he turns the grill on. "Huh? Mino, don't call me here and not tell me anything." I smile giving him a nudge.

"My parents found out."

My smile slowly dropped. "And?"

"They got scared and told me to get out." He looks at me. "So I did." The glass of soju raises to his lips and he tips it up until it was gone and he swallowed with a hiss.

"Did they give you a chance to explain that it was all your aunts fault?" He shook his head pouring himself another glass and I sighed leaning back into the chair.

"Is it really that scary? That I'm apart of a mafia?" He licks his lips and turns his head to me. "Are you scared?"

I shake my head. "No, why would I be?" He looks back at the burning grill. "Mino I grew up with you, I know you better then anybody else. You would never hurt somebody that you love and you'd never let somebody else hurt your loved ones."

He nods. "But I also grew up with my parents... and they pushed me away in a split second."

"They don't know why you're in that position in the first place, they don't know shit yet they're so quick to judge." I start to make myself frustrated but he holds the back of my neck and gives it little squeezes.

"Here you go." A glass and another bottle of soju was placed in front of me as well as a plate of meat.

"Thanks." I bow slightly and she walks away. "Keep me updated, yeah?" Mino nods as I start placing meat on the grill.

"What about you, anything happened lately?" He let's go of my neck and watches me.

"Hmm... I just bought a rundown store so I'm pretty much broke right now." I smile seeing his eyes widen.

"You what?!" I hum. "Y/N you're actually crazy." He chuckles.

"You won't be saying that when I give you free food." I smile opening my bottle of soju and pouring myself a glass.

"You're wrong. I'll be calling you a lunatic."

I give him a glare but he just chuckles and gives my shoulder a push so I nip his ear with the metal tongs, he pulls them out my hands and attempts to do the same with me but I grab his wrist and twist it while laughing.
