"Hey, Mr. Satotz, is this where the Second Phase of the exam takes place?" Gon asked curiously, tilting his head to stare up at the examiner as Mallory took in the scenery.
There was fog, lots of it, and the air was dense and chilly. It made the girl shiver; cold weather was not her thing.
"No, we still have quite a way to go," Satotz replied.
'Shit.'
Mallory sighed to herself,
"Seriously? Man, this sucks. If I knew we would be running for this long I would've worn a more comfortable outfit." She frowned as she crossed her arms.
Killua glanced at her for a brief moment before turning away and shrugging his shoulders,"Yeah, well, I bet it would suck a lot less if you'd quit complaining, you're giving me a headache." He commented dryly.
An irk mark appeared on the girl's forehead as she turned towards the white-haired boy with a strained smile.
"Oh I'm sorry, is my complaining hurting poor little Killua's ears? I didn't know you were so sensitive! Well, I guess it can't be helped, with the way you dress theres no way someone like you could ever understand the importance of being fashionable." She shook her head in a mocking manner at the end of her sentence.
Killua whipped his head around and glared at her. "Shut up! I'm plenty fashionable!"
Mallory smirked at his angered face,
"Really? I had no idea! You'd have to show me, otherwise I'd think you're lying, Grandpa."
"GRANDPA?! HEY, AT LEAST I'M NOT A NARCISSIST!"
"Wha-HUH?! I AM NOT A NARCISSIST! WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE YOU LITTLE BRAT?!"
"YEAH YOU ARE! ONLY A NARCISSIST WOULD GO OUT OF THEIR WAY TO RATE OTHER PEOPLES LOOKS! WHAT, YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN EVERYONE BECAUSE YOU WEAR SUCH HIGH-END STUFF?! GET OVER YOURSELF!"
"SHUT UP! I NEVER SAID THAT!! I TAKE BACK WHAT I SAID EARLIER, YOU'RE A 0/10!"
"LIKE I CARE!!"
Gon watched with a sweatdrop as the two continued to hurl insults at each other, wondering whether or not he should stop them.
'As long as they aren't saying anything bad then there's no harm done, right?'
