fix you - a sonic x shadow fanfiction

take care. ch. 3

sonic looked at shadow, he could see the same look on his face from the other times he was thinking these ways.

"you can borrow some of mine tonight, but you'll need to grab a few pairs of cloths of you wanna stay for long." sonic gave him a smile then held onto his hand.
shadow tensed up his shoulders, holding in his tears. sonic made him feel like everything was okay, he gave that reassuring smile, he wouldn't pull away from the random hugs he needed, just as maria used to be with shadow. shadow nodded, agreeing to what sonic just told him.
"so, what do you normally wear to bed, so i can pick something comfy out for you."

"sweats, i normally dont wear a shirt. if i get cold i put on some stupid hoodie i always have in the same spot on my floor-"

"must be a special hoodie." sonic said smiling at how shadow got a little too specific while answering the question.
"i just meant in general silly, so sweats and a hoodie?"

"uh, yeah its pretty cold i guess."

"got it. you start getting in the shower, ill knock when i have the cloths out." sonic said, seeing him hold in tears.

shadow nodded and immediately went into the restroom that was inside of the blue haired boys room.

he proceeded with his shower, silently crying as he couldn't really hold it in anymore.

^time skip to after the shower^

shadow walked out of the restroom, his skin a bit red from the hear of his shower, and the tears that fell. he liked in that way.

"want some pasta? its Alfredo. my mom made it earlier but i got some when you were showering."

"mm, ill pass. you gonna shower?"

"in the morning yeah. i hate nighttime showers, unless im sick."

"oh- i like night showers either way."
shadow sat himself next to sonic on his bed. he yawned heavily, stretching out his arms.

"wanna sleep here? ill make a pallet or take the couch."

"no no, its your bed."

"suit yourself" sonic said as he got up to grab a couple extra blankets to make an extra bed on the floor.
"ill be back" sonic said leaving his room.

shadow sat there, he was already half asleep. he just lied down, forgetting about what he told sonic. he took off the hoodie sonic gave him, his skin was too hot from the shower and it was burning him. if he was home, he'd probably take off his pants too.

sonic walked back in and saw shadow laying down, not covered in a blanket or the hoodie.

"sleep well handsome. i promise ill fix you." sonic said whispering to himself as he saw the shorter boy sleep.
shadow was already fast alseep, so he didnt get to hear the nice words that were directed towards him, but he was happy when he slept. sonic continued to make the pallet on the floor and sleep there.

morning time:

shadow woke up to sonic humming the tune of a familiar sound in the bathroom. he sat up from the bed and rubbed his eyes-
"ah shit-" he said as he realized he rubbed an eyelash in his eye.
sonic got quiet cause he heard shadow curse under his breath.
"you up?"

"mmph." shadow hated mornings. his hair was a mess, and his eyes stung. he also drooled a small amount onto his arm. he wiped it on his pants.
his hair was also very messy, and long. he needed to cut it really bad, and re-dye the red streaks that were slowly fading.

"not a morning person?"

"im not an anything person i hate being awake."
