My Step Brother- Reece Bibby (Stereo Kicks)

Chapter 2: Hi, I'm Reece

"So this is Lia?" Lyndsey smiled running over to me and hugging me. I wasn't a hugger but I hugged her back anyway.

"Oh your beautiful! You never told me how gorgeous your daughter was Paul!" Lyndsey squealed. She was such a bubbly and happy person it made me feel so welcome.

"Come in, come and meet my son" She smiled pointing to Reece who was standing inside. I already knew who he was though.

"Hi I'm Reece, Reece Bibby" He smiled putting his hand out. I shook it.

"Lia, Lia Marie Russett" I smiled.

"You have a lovely name, welcome to the family" He replied closing the front door.

"Your house is amazing" I said slowly as I spun around taking everything in.

"It's your house now too honey" Lyndsey reminded me.

"True, it's beautiful" I smiled as we all made our way into the kitchen.

"So Reece my son is in a band-" I cut her off.

"Called Stereo Kicks, I know" I smiled sweetly.

"You a fan?" Reece questioned as he grabbed an apple from the fruit bowl.

"I suppose you could say that, I voted for you all through the X factor" I told them.

"You didn't tell me you were a fan Lia" My dad chuckled. I just shrugged and smiled.

"I'm gonna go upstairs to un pack if that's alright?" I said.

"Of course love, I set up your room the way you wanted it to be so I hope you like it" Lyndsey flashed me a smile.

"Thank you" I replied before walking out of the kitchen.

"Do you want a hand?" I heard Reece ask me from behind.

"Uhh sure" I grinned, I took some suitcases up and he took the others. We walked up stairs it was huge. (In this book Reece doesn't have a little sister and the boys aren't going on tour or anything it's in the future kind of)
At the top of the stairs there was a room straight in front of you. Then their were two other rooms which had bathroom on the doors. Then to the side there were another two rooms.

"That's my room and then your rooms the one to the right" Reece told me. He was pointing to the rooms I was just speaking about. My room was huge, much bigger than it was before. It was white and silver. The carpet was cream and I had steps going up to my king sized bed. Most of my stuff was already set up in here.

"Wow it's huge" I laughed under my breath.

"Yeah it's pretty big" Reece chuckled.

"I'll help you unpack" He added. I just smiled and nodded.

"Oo what's this?" Reece questioned. We had been unpacking for around 20 minutes now. I turned round to see him holding up a stereo kicks poster, well a few of them that were rolled up in an elastic band.

"Nothing" I blushed looking down again.

"You said you weren't really a fan" He smiled laughing slightly.

"Okay maybe I am a little bit more of a fan than I said but that doesn't matter" I told him turning back to my suitcase.

"Alright then" He chuckled before going back to unpacking.
