Chapter 9: Suspect

It was 1 week since Trevor came. We are getting on well and him and Reece are too. I was standing at my locker leaning against it as Reece done the same.

"I never noticed how blue your eyes were" Reece smiled looking me right in the eye.

"Your beautiful" He smiled again causing me to blush and look down.

"Your also really cute when you blush" Reece whispered as he walked past me as the bell rang signaling we had to go to our classes. I looked back and smiled and he smirked back.

*Lunch*

"So you know Reece?" Kenzie spoke. I was sitting with the girls at the table. I nodded slowly eating my apple.

"What's he like? Do you speak at home?" Tiffany questioned. We do more than just speaking!

"Uhh yeah he's really nice, and we speak at home sometimes not a lot" I lied trying to change the subject.

"Charlie Jones, one of his bandmates, has a girlfriend her names Georgia but everyone calls her Geo. She's the same age as us and she's starting Waterloo Road next week, she's lovely" I complimented.

"She can hang around with us, is she anything like us?" Rhiannon asked. I nodded smiling.

"She's exactly like us" I chuckled chucking my apple in the bin and walking out of the canteen.

*Walking home*

"Hi Princess" Reece spoke as he ran up behind me hugging me.

"Hello!" I giggled. He put his hand in mine but I immediately took it away.

"Reece we are in public at school!" I whisper/yelled. Reece just sighed and looked to the floor.

"I wish our relationship was easier" He sighed again.

"So we are in a relationship now?" I asked smirking. He looked up smiling.

"We could if you wanted to be" He smiled. I put my hand on my chin and put on a thinking face smirking a little.

"Hmmmm I'll think about it" I giggled sarcastically as we walked into the house.

"Lia, can we talk?" Trevor asked as soon as I got in the door. I nodded and put my bag on the floor.

"Seriously what's going on with you and Reece?" Trevor asked quietly as we walked into the closet room.

"What?! He's my step brother we are just really close as he's in my favorite band" I replied panicking a little.

"Are you sure?" He asked raising an eye brow.

"Positive" I said pushing past him and walking back into the living room. Reece gave me a confused look as I sat down. I just shook my head and mimicked 'I'll tell you later'. He just nodded and focused back into the Tv.
