It was an uneventful day. Both Anu and Anuj had the day off. They had spent the better part of the day snuggling each other on the couch, listening to the song "Yeh haseen vaadiyan" onloop[*try listening to it in Tamil as well, it's amazing*]. The song was playing at a very feeble volume. The peace was not uncomfortable at all.
Anuj slowly adjusted himself to face Anu.
Anuj: Shona!!Kahin bahar chalte hain na....Mein bohot bore ho raha hun!
Anu: Anuj...Aise hi rehte he na..mein toh bohot comfortable hun.
" Hum 'Vanilla type' couple todi hain!! Chalo na Anuu......Jaldi se tayar ho jao...Pleeej!!!" Anuj jerked up and exclaimed, mimicking Anupama.
Anu got up from the bed, stretching and yawning. She was trying her best to get rid of her laziness. In a lethargic tone, Anu replied "theek he..chalte hai, par pehle yeh bataiye ki 'Van...Vanilla type couple' kya hota hai?"
Anuj was flustered. He did not know how to explain this to his sweet, innocent wife. Scratching his neck awkwardly, he tried to answer "Woh.....woh...Anu, main baad me bata doonga.Der ho rahi he, ab jaldi chalo."
Boliye ne Anuj...pleej
"Okay..okay batata hoon! Woh couples jo 'Kabhi Bhi' kuch naya try nahi karte, Kuch adventurous nahi karte.....unhe log "Vanilla couples" bulate hain...." he whispered in her ears.
His husky voice and the proximity sent shivers down her spine. Her cheeks turned pink as she quickly ran out of the room......

Anuj's POV:
It was around 5 P.M., and Anuj was impatiently waiting for Anu...no..his Anu to arrive. Just when he was starting to feel restless, he saw her, the love of his life, walking towards him looking gorgeous. She was wearing a...........wait.......he did not care about what she was wearing. She was the most beautiful girl to him always.
Anu's POV:
As Anu walked down the stairs to the parking, she saw her man. Leaning against his laal pari in the most casual but stylish manner, he looked like a dreamboat. Just a single look gave her butterflies.

She walked to him and asked, "yeh gaadi ki chath kaha gai??"
"Yeh convertible hai Anu...Matlab hum iska roof lower kar sakte he." Anuj clarified.
Anu was flabbergasted. In the past year, when they met almost every single day, her husband had never mentioned this. Pretending to be angry, she turned around. Anuj swiftly hugged her behind and asked "Kya hua Anu???" Anu had already melted, but she maintained her pretense and replied "Aapne yeh roof ko convert kardiya ab mere baal ulajh jayenge:( ."
"Teek he toh vapas convert kar dete hain ya phir mein kal subah tumhare baalo ko suljha kar tel maalish kar doonga..."Anuj replied in a flirtatious tone.
" Mujhe option 2 okay he....chaliye ab."She said releasing herself from his hold. Anu got into the driver's seat with utmost elegance...[*Anuj ke driving pe mujhe bharosa nai he........Ok sorry....bad joke*]

They spent the evening driving around the city.
With the wind in their hair and their lips humming the song "Neele Neele Ambar Par", both Anu and Anuj enjoyed their impromptu date thoroughly.
Anu parked the car near the sidewalk of the 'now' empty road. She looped her hand around his and rested her head on his shoulder. Anuj lifted her left hand to his mouth and gave it a sweet kiss. The adorable couple was overwhelmed with happiness and love. They spent the night gazing at the starry night sky and making beautiful memories together........
I tried writing it with more dialogues, so it is longer.....
