"Anuuuu....utho!!! Oh my God...Alarm miss kar diya maine...Hume bahar nikalna hai...Maine bola tha na...This meeting is extremely important yaar. Der ho jayegi...Chalo utho ab" ..
Anuj rushed into the bathroom to get ready.

The commotion woke Anu up from her deep slumber. She didn't really get to sleep last night you know. 😉😉
She squinted and looked around the room. A blue salwar caught her eye. Anuj had laid out matching outfits for them. He always knew how to make her day. The littlest things that he did gave her joy. Even when he was in a hurry, he thought of her. She rolled over to the other side of the bed and started daydreaming about the outfits.
Anuj walked out of the shower to the view of his dreams. His shirt loosely hung over her shoulders but hugged the curves of her torso in a way that made him borderline jealous of it, her hair was in a messy bun..a few stray strands adding to her effortless beauty.

'Meeting jaaye bhaad me' is all that came to his mind. He jumped on to the bed and engulfed her in his arms. How perfectly she fit in his arms. She nuzzled into his chest and sighed. It was this peace that both of them hoped for. They wanted nothing else... needed nothing else. Simple and mundane moments like this made them feel complete.

Anu looked up with a mischievous glint in her eyes. She licked her lips slightly and whispered "Aapko meeting ke liye der nahi ho rahi?" Anuj clicked his tongue."Kya yaar...Anu....mood barbaad mat karo...mujhe kuch aur karne ka mann kar raha hai.." She wiggled herself out of his hold and sprinted to the bathroom with her clothes. "Aap ready ho jaayiye, main 2 minute me aayi."
Anuj frowned and got up to get dressed with the enthusiasm of a kid going to school on a chilly winter morning.

"Zzz...zz...zzz..zzz" Anuj phone was buzzing ever since they left home.
Her attention fell to his phone. It was lying in the center console, notifications going wild. The ringer was on silent, but the screen lit up with messages every few seconds. He glanced down at phone annoyed. "5 minutes Anu... let me just reply to this. Suraj ne aaj ke deal ke baare me kuch bheja hoga."

To Anuj's credit, he completely ignored his phone whenever they were together. He was mentally present, and she was the centre of his attention.

"Oh really...hmmm...this doesn't seem legit..... But I still think I should take the deal with Mr.Verma. Mr.Singh ke proposal utna promising nahi lag raha hai mujhe." Anuj muttered as he read through the texts. Anu was listening to all this intently.

"Anuj.... Mujhe lagta hai ki aapko Mr.Singh ke saath deal karni chahiye...
Kyunki Mr.Verma ki company loss me chal rahi hai....Maine suna tha ki unhone kuch din pehle hi bohot saare employees ko fire kiya tha....Toh iss waqt woh apne side ke deal ko pure kar payenge ya nahi...yeh hume nahi pata..Mujhe pata hai ki woh kam commission le rahe hain....par hum kam price ke chakkar me quality aur quantity me compromise toh nahi kar sakte ne....

She geeked out on all the business analytic talk. She bit her tongue.

Anuj looked up from his phone. "Continue Anu...I am listening...bolo" he reassured her.
She was waiting for him to lash out on her...argue with her and state all the reasons why her opinion was wrong...how she couldn't add to this since she wasn't as educated...how it didn't matter what she thought.....She didn't expect this reaction from him... Ofcourse she didn't, no man in her life has ever treated her the way she deserves to be treated. Her father was strict... Baapuji was just a mute spectator.....Toshu doesn't respects her....Samar was just a kid....he couldn't get a chance to voice out his own opinion, let alone Anupama's.....Vanraj ka toh number hi nahi aayega.. All her life she had been suppressed. She was surprised that she even had all this knowledge about the business world...
