We went back to school and Anna started taking me to school. I was glad because she let me drive. I've been wanting to drive forever.
"Why don't you have your own car ever?" Anna asked.
"My parents won't buy me one yet." I said.
"That sucks. Are you at least saving up for one?" She asked.
"Yeah I almost have enough." I said.
"Great." She said.
We arrived at school and I held her hand when everyone looked at me.
"Why is everyone looking?" Anna asked.
"Because you're my first ever girlfriend." I said.
"Really?" She asked.
"Yes ma'am." I said.
All through out the day I heard rumors and whispers and shit talking but I didn't care. My teacher wasn't surprised that we were dating. She said she saw it coming.
"You need me to drop you off at home?" Anna asked.
"Yes please." I said.
She nodded as I got in her car. She drove me home and I kissed her goodbye. Once she left to her house I went inside. Deuce was already there, sitting on my couch.
"What's up." I said.
"Yo J-Dog." Deuce said.
"What're you here for?" I asked, taking off my flannel.
"My parents are fighting again so I thought I would come here." He said.
"Fair enough." I said.
"So, you and Anna are dating now?" He asked.
"Yessir we are." I said.
"Good for you J." He said.
"Thanks Deuce." I said.
"Yeah no problem, but you're still gonna be in the band right?" He asked.
"Of course I am." I said.
"Great." He said.
Great indeed.
