We had been done with testing this week. Anna finally relaxed herself but she was still nervous about her test results and her college applications. They let her know she was on the waitlist yesterday.

"I'm so nervous Jorel." Anna said.

"Anna. You've applied to so many art schools you're gonna get into either one or a few of them." I said.

"But what if I don't get into one at all?" She asked.

"You will. Once they see your art they're gonna love you." I said.

"I'm hoping the college here takes me so we don't have to do long distance as much." She said.

"If they can't take you, it's okay." I said.

"I'm so nervous I hate this feeling." She said.

"Once this school accepts you that's gonna be the feeling of success and happiness." I said.

"Ugh you always have something good to say." She said, laughing.

"I just wanna cheer you up." I said.

Anna looked at her phone and went wide eyed.

"What happened?" I asked.

"They accepted me." She said, covering her hand over her mouth.

"Which one?" I asked.

"The one here." She said.

"Holy shit that's amazing!" I said.

"They want to see more projects of mine and they can't wait for me to come there next year holy shit Jorel." She said.

"You did it Anna!" I said, hugging her.

"I did it." She said, crying.

"I'm so proud of you." I said, kissing her.

"Thank you for believing in me." She said.

"Of course." I said.

"I gotta go tell my parents. I'll be back later." She said.

"I'll be here." I said.

"Okay." She said, kissing me.

When she left I called the guys. I wanted to share the news to my best friends because well it was a great moment.

"This better be good Jorel! I was having private time." Deuce said.

"First of all, TMI. Second of all, Anna just got accepted into her favorite art school here." I said.

"Holy shit! Way to go Anna!" Dylan said.

"Yeah I'm really happy for her." I said.

"When did she find out?" Charlie asked.

"Today." I said.

"And you guys ain't breaking up right?" George asked.

"No." I said.

"Thank god." Dylan said.

"Alright. I'll let you have your private time Deuce. Next time just don't answer." I said, laughing.

"Thank you!" Deuce said, hanging up right after.

"Alright I gotta go guys. See you soon?" I asked.

"Yessir." Charlie said.

I hung up as Anna walked back in.

"They said they won't be able to pay." Anna said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Because they don't want me going to college. It's like do they even care about my education?" She asked.

"I don't know, but I care about it. I'll pay." I said.

"Oh honey no don't do that." She said.

"No Anna I want you to have your dream. I don't want you to be miserable here without being in that school. I'm paying." I said.

Anna smiled and started crying as I hugged her.

"I love you so much Jorel. I cannot thank you enough." She said.

"It's my job to make you happy." I said.

"You're seriously the best." She said.

"I love you." I said.

"I love you too." She said.

I was excited to pay for her. I had enough money and I wanted her to be happy. I couldn't stand her being miserable because it would make me feel really bad. I couldn't see her miserable because she'd worked so hard her whole life for this.
