Y/n's POV:

"What do you mean the kid is the God Loki was mentioning?", goatee man questions Grandpa as I sit in one of the chairs around the glass table.

"Y/n could you show them?", Grandpa asked me while tapping on the table. Understanding what he meant I raised my right hand and slammed it onto the table.

As soon as I hit the table it began to crack like thin ice, spreading from my fingertips to the edge of the table. This had caused everyone around the table to step back in shock, Captain America kept on pointing at the table then at me and the table again. But I think I slammed on the table too hard as when I removed my hand instead of a glass shard handprint there was sand resting in the shape of my hand on the table.

"Sorry Grandpa, I hit the table too hard again.", I spoke softly as I drew into the sand on the table.

"That's ok Y/n why don't you and your mother go to the cafeteria. I think they're serving strawberries and cream.", he replies. Nodding I get up off my seat and grab Mum's hand leading her to the cafeteria.

3rd POV:

Stark was the first to respond after Y/n had left, though still staring at the cracked table, he then questioned Nick Fury.

"Ok, I have a few questions. The first being why does the kid call you Grandpa?", Tony asks the Director.

"I have that affect on children.", the Director replies with an atmosphere of seriousness accompanied by an emotionless face.

"I don't see it. Second is what god is he?", Tony continues.

"That Stark is a good question and to answer that question I have to go back to when Shield had first found Y/n which was 3 years ago.", the Director began clasping his hands behind his back.

"Shield had caught word that a group of cultists were planning on releasing an ancient god that was known to be the embodiment of all that was evil in the world. However, when we had arrived at the ritual the cultists were either half submerged in the ground or had been impaled by glass spears with the boy unconscious in the centre. After collecting all the cultist's notes they planned on letting the Egyptian god Set inhabit the body and then kill him. We believe that Set fused with Y/n to preserve the both of them, though the child has no memories that the god may have had so far. Another issue was that Y/n's biological parents were among the cultists that were killed so I decided to bring him in where he got attached to calling agent Hill his mother.", Fury finished as he faced the group of adults.

"In the meantime I'd like Mr Stark and Dr Banner to hunt down that cube. The sooner we have it the better.", Fury dismisses the group letting them go about their business.

Natasha was the first to leave as she also began to head to the cafeteria. Upon arrival she spotted Agent Hill and Y/n sitting opposite each other on a far left table. Picking up a tray and choosing a bowl of ice cream she sat beside Hill.

"Since when did the Helicarrier get desserts?", she asked Hill who was wiping some cream off Y/n's face.

"Since Y/n had a tantrum and shattered all the glass on the bridge", Hill responded. This response however made Y/n pout as he replied.

"It wasn't a tantrum. I just didn't agree with flapjacks all the time.", he spoke crossing his arms for a moment before continuing to eat the strawberries.

"I guess I missed a lot while I was undercover.", Natasha spoke in an almost sad tone, knowing she'll never have a child of her own, as she watched the pair interact with each other.

Noticing Natasha in distress Y/n got off his seat and went under the table to sit beside the assassin giving her a hug. Shocked by this for a moment, Natasha loosens and rubs his head in thanks not knowing that Hill was smiling at Y/n's thoughtfulness. Despite not knowing much about the red haired woman Y/n couldn't help but hug her harder as she rubbed his head.
