Hiro's POV

I kept an eye on the two females through the window, watching as they walked back to their own house. It was super sweet of them to come over and introduce themselves, and to give us the cookies as a welcoming present. I didn't expect to feel so at home on our first night in the new neighbourhood. I might even feel more at home here than at our previous house...

Once the two girls finally walked through the door of their house, I couldn't help but feel a hint of sadness, as I could no longer see the blue-eyed girl who has been occupying my mind since this morning. It's like she cast some sort of spell on me as soon as we locked eyes, as I couldn't look away from her mesmerising blue orbs until she broke the eye contact herself. I've never felt this way about a girl before... Is it normal to feel the way I feel? Is it normal for her to be occupying my mind without end?

'Wow, these are amazing!' I heard my brother exclaim, and I turned around to see him looming over the already untied and opened container of cookies.

I made my way to the dining table and took one of the cookies for myself, before my brother could get the chance to take another one. I took a bite out of the treat, and my eyes immediately widened at how good it tasted. Ayano really wasn't kidding when she said that Sashi put all her love into making them, and I couldn't help but smile at the thought of her trying so hard to make us feel welcome.

I felt my phone buzz in my pocket, and quickly got it out to see who would be messaging me at such a late time. My eyes widened when the originally unknown number popped up on my screen, and I quickly stuffed my phone back into my pocket. I realised that my brother had moved to sit on the couch with another cookie in hand, too preoccupied with his phone to notice what I was doing. I took the chance to take the container of cookies and climb the stairs to my room, checking over my shoulder now and then to make sure that my brother didn't see me. Is it normal that I don't want anyone else to taste Sashi's delicious baking?

I placed the container down on my desk upon arriving in my room, before quickly getting my phone out and reading the message that was sent to me.

Info-chan: Wow, I've got to admit that I'm impressed. You've only known her for a few minutes, but you've still managed to convince her that you should sit together during classes and lunchtime.

Hiro: What are you talking about? I didn't convince Sashi to do anything. She's the one who suggested it out of the goodness of her heart.

Info-chan: Whatever. The good news is that you no longer have to stare at her from a safe distance, and just in the nick of time as well. She started feeling like she was being watched while having lunch with her sister, and had she looked around just a bit more, she might have spotted you. You don't want her to know what a total stalker you are, do you?

Hiro: I don't think you can talk. I've heard some nasty rumours about you, and one of the worst is that you take lewd pictures of girls and sell them to guys for money.

Info-chan: I can always take a few pictures of Sashi and give them to you, if you'd like.

Hiro: You're sick!

Info-chan: And you're not getting anywhere without me. Trust me when I say that my services are going to come in very handy, even if you don't believe me right away. Goodnight, Hiro.

The mysterious girl went offline before anything else could be said, and I placed my phone back in my pocket with a sigh. Did I make a mistake when I asked this 'Info-chan' for more information on Sashi? Of course, she was the one who approached me first, but after promising to help me with any information or service I desired, I couldn't help but make a deal with her. I just hope that decision doesn't come back to haunt me later, and that she really will be of help.
