Aniruddh was sitting in his plush study chair, checking up on some cases when Bondita walked in laughingly. The laughter which spewed from her automatically plastered a smile on his lips. His day finally had peace. Curious to know about her reason for her honey like laughter, he asked, "Kya hua Bondita?? Bohot khush lag rahi ho... Kya baat hai??"
Bondita still laughing, plopped onto his lap. Aniruddh held her by the waist to hold her steady & draw her close to him. A soft sigh of contentment escaping his lips. He burried his face into the crook of her neck.
"Pati Babu aapko pata hai, Aman hai na... Mera woh dost??" Aniruddh just hummed in response.
"Usse kisise pyaar ho gaya.."
"Achcha?? Yeh toh bohot achchi baat hai Bondita."
"Haan. Par ek baat hai jo mujhe khatak rahi hai."
"Kaunsi baat??"
"Woh ladki waise toh bohot achchi hai par har mauke pe na Aman ke saath bura vyavhaar karti hai. Aur Aman kuch bolta bhi nahi usko. Thoda ajeeb laga."
"Lekin Bondita yeh toh galat hai na."
"Haa par woh kehte hai na... Pyaar andha hota hai." She said smiling.
Aniruddh looked up at her & smiled slightly, "My Bondita... Love is anything but blind my Darling."
Bondita looked at Aniruddh in slight confusion as he continued to caress her cheeks & spoke to her like he used to when he explained textbook concepts to her when she was young.
"Pyaar andha nahi hota Bondita. Pyaar toh humari aankhein kholta hai. Pyaar humein sahi raaste pe le jaata hai. Ab koi agar andha ho toh woh sahi raastien pe kaise chale... Haina??"
Bondita smiled understanding his points but she was always a very curious girl & since her Shikshak Babu is right here imparting his precious pearls of wisdom, she decided to ask. "Par pati babu... Agar uss andhe ka koi saath de, haath pakad ke chale... Toh??"
Aniruddh chuckled out loud & replied, "Aisa kaise hoga patni devi ji... Agar ek pyaar mein andha hua, toh jo uska haath pakdega, rishte ki zimmedari toh uspe hi aa jaayegi. Toh woh rishta toh ek tarfa kehlayega na??"
Bondita's face brightened as understanding settled in her. She wound her arms around his neck & gave him a squeezing hug before saying cheerfully, "Samajh gayi aapki Bondita!! Pyaar shiksha ki tarah hi roshni deta hai. Woh andha ho hi nahi sakta. Jaise hamara pyaar."
"Haa Bondita." Aniruddh replied with a smile before he pressed a kiss on her forehead.
