All fictions around the world are celebrating the Spring Festival, on the first day of spring. Lunar New Year, Easter, and cherry Blossom events become one event for one week. Not just that, some staff fictions also help prepare an online event for each game where people in the real world play their favourite games whenever their creators start to make new event games.
any event activities were held in Rose Plaza. Find Easter eggs, share chocolate and cookies to their loved ones just like Valentine's Day and White Day, Lion Dance show and more with the Spring Festival season. “Wow…so many people celebrate here. I can't even choose which event I want to join.” Kichiko was impressed to see this scenery with Fou. Fou waves his fluffy tail like excited, ‘Fou-Fou.’ The little Cath Palug points directions by telling her to go have some picnic together. “That's a good idea, maybe we'll have some picnic first and continue to see all the events in here.” Kichiko agreed with Fou's idea before they entered the Rose Plaza. She sees the children's fictions playing around Rose Plaza along with finding Easter eggs. Everyone, never think about the difference in this event. All fictions welcomed with big open arms.
‘Waa Look out ─=≡Σ(╯°□°)╯!’ a brunette girl shouts in front of Kichiko before she falls down because she slips on a rock when she carries three bento boxes. How fortunate Kichiko quickly caught those bento boxes. “Are you alright?” Kichiko bent carefully to lend her hand to help the brunette girl to get up, her other hand still lifted up three bento boxes.
“Sankyuu, (´;︵;') I lost my track of my sisters. But I feel they are probably busy with other Kantai ships.” said the brunette girl in teary chibi mode. But the brunette girl stares at Kichiko like she sees her somewhere or hears humor. “Oh my God! You're Kichiko Tomiko? What commandant Ash talks about? (‘◉⌓◉’).” she asked her. “Yes, that's me. Is something wrong?” Kichiko smiles sheepish while Fou keeps staying inside Kichiko's hoodie hat jacket. “(>w<) OMG! You're so adorable! Especially those twinkling stars in your eyes! Ah, I almost forgot. I'm Kongou, the first fast battleship in Kantai!” It was Kongou, from ‘Kantai Collection’.
Kongou was clingy to Kichiko by cuddling her and nuzzling her lovingly like she's hugging own little sister. “O-Oh yeah, I know about you too in my homeworld. But me and Fou-kun are looking for a spot for our picnic.” Kichiko answers. Hearing Kichiko's speech, she got an idea. Kongou energetically asks permission from her if she lets Kongou join her picnic. Since her sisters could be busy too with others.
Kichiko insisted on her permission, Kongou was joyful, hugging her so close like her own little sister. “(*´ω｀*) Aww you're so cute! We're gonna be best friends. (╯ರ ~ ರ)╯It's not fair if Artoria-chan meet you first.” Kongou pouted. Kichiko chuckles at Kongou behavior like a little girl when they walk to the park to find a spot for a picnic together.

The park in Rose Plaza is filled with cherry blossom trees. The view here is amazing, no pollution, no transportation passing through, and everyone is respected for cleaning the park before they leave. “( ･ั﹏･ั) Aww it's already full. And I can't find my sisters either. What should we do now Kichiko-chan?” Kongou asked. Kichiko is also a bit sad can't find it for their picnic place. But Fou hops down from Kichiko's head running to an unknown man who looked like a swordsman Edo. Kongou noticed, it's her neighbour, Mikazuki Munechika from ‘Touken Ranbu’.
“Oya? I didn't know you came here without your sisters, Kongou-san.” Mikazuki smiles warmly when he's about to sips a cup of warm green tea under a cherry blossom. Kichiko bows, introduces her name to him and asks permission if they can join him on a picnic. For that reason they both didn't get a location for a picnic. Mikazuki chuckles softly, seeing how innocent and so polite of Kichiko asking like a student.
Finally he accepts her permission and she, Kongou, also Fou prepare a tray along their bento. Eating bento, drinking warm green tea, and watching the wind softly blow through cherry blossoms is the best moment in the spring season. “...It is the best feeling I ever had. If…only my uncle and aunt are together again like we used to be, Before my dad and grandma passed away.” Kichiko solemnly. Those old memories of when she had a great time with her father and grandmother were the best memories before they're gone.
She did tell about herself to Mikazuki and Kongou after she listened to them. Fou is too busy eating Kichiko's homemade food, sandwich sushi filled with spicy karaage. “Kichiko-chan, say 'ah' ~ (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ.” Kongou wants to feed her with rice and stir fry veggie teriyaki. Kichiko blinks and smiles before eating it when Kongou feeds her. “Mm, oishii. Eating homemade Kongou-chan and drinking warm green tea from Mikazuki-san is a perfect balance.”
“Hehe, you haven't tried my friend's homemade food in our Honmaru. Mitsutada-kun is amazing at cooking.” Mikazuki says and strokes Fou's head when the little beast hops to his lap. Kongou puffed her cheeks like she wanted to get Kichiko's attention. “I can cook too! Next time, I'll cook for you once we're done with this picnic.”
Kichiko chuckles and nods at Kongou acting like a kid. Guess this picnic isn't bad after all. Kichiko sees cherry blossom petals fall on her cup of green tea. “Cherry blossom's petal. 'A reminder of how brief and fleeting life is', looks like you're really enjoying your stay in this world, Kichiko-san.” Mikazuki tells her. “I think I do.” Kichiko replied. Suddenly, Kichiko's bracelet Book of Paracosm turns into a book and opens a page. “(・_・;) Eh? What happened?” Kongou was surprised. Kichiko checks the page where the Book of Paracosm shows them a map. It seems to show the second missing page she is looking for. Next location is Venice in Italy. “Italy? But Artoria-san can't join because she needs to take care of her creator's event.” Kichiko ponders with worry about who will go there beside Fou.
Mikazuki puts down his empty glass and says, “Kongou-san, remember when we and others wanted to know more what's Real World looked like? Is it fortune if we join Kichiko's mission?” Kongou's eyes sparkled. She nodded and agreed with him. “(. ❛ ᴗ ❛.) Of course! I really want to see it! But Kichiko-chan doesn't feel bothered if we join you.”. As for Fou, nodded at Kichiko that it's alright if they both want to help her. Fou always helps Kichiko on choosing decisions like her real guardian. “T-Thank you so much, minna.” Kichiko is happy. “That's mean…Can I call you 'Darling'? (◡ ω ◡)”
“Eh? (●__●).” Kichiko, Mikazuki,make the same face when Kongou calls Kichiko darling. Fou face paws of Kongou childish clingy behaviour. From awkward moments to laugh joyfully together. Next up, mission to Venice in Italy.
