21: Drifting

The rain fell, causing the fallen leaves to become slick beneath your feet.

Three weeks.

It's been three weeks since that encounter. You've made your relationship with Tsukishima really awkward by trying to avoid him which is really hard since he went everywhere you went.

'Y/n, are you ok?' He'd always ask and you'd just respond with 'Yeah.'

That was all that consisted of your conversations. He seemed to be getting the memo that you didn't want to talk since he wouldn't try to push more.

You were making your way to school in the morning. You told Tsukishima to head on without you since you had to do something. It was a lie but he believed it, you just didn't want to bear another awkward walk.

You missed those times you walked with him, but then again, you brought this upon yourself.

You neared the gym, and heard murmurs and screeching shoes. A ball rolled out and you ran to retrieve it.

"Thanks Y/n." Suga stood at the gym entrance you your threw the ball to him.

You entered the gym and Coach Ukai called everyone over.

"Everyone's here right?" He examined the room. "Alright team, as you know we have the Interhigh Prelims coming up. So I want you boys working your ass off for the next weeks approaching alright?"

"Yes sir!" They yelled in unison.

"Haha alrighty then. I'll see you at practice later."
