"Hey, did you tell Ami-chan about this place?" Tsukishima asked as you exited the restaurant.

Ami had already left with her friends and to be honest, you were grateful since your usual peaceful walk home wouldn't be disturbed.

You shook your head. "Have you seen her here before?"

"Nope."

There was silence for a few strides.

"Uh look, just because she came over doesn't mean that anything happened between us." He said all of a sudden.

Why did he tell me this?

"I- Ok? I don't really-" You got cut off.

"Sorry that was stupid to say. I don't know why I said that." Tsukishima looked away.

"No it's fine." You laughed lightly to try and make it less awkward.

"Good job, again." He swallowed thickly. "With your performance, I mean."

"Thank you." You smiled up at him.

Tsukishima's POV

Thank goodness that Ami didn't wait until my shift was over.

I can't tolerate her, I mean, I only tolerate some people.

But this girl keeps pushing. I don't know what she's trying to do, getting close to me all of a sudden but whatever. Maybe one day she'll see how much of a dickhead I am.

Yeah, I admit that I can be a dickhead sometimes.

We approached our neighborhood which meant I had to say goodbye to Y/n soon. Maybe I'll ask if she wants to come over? But she looked kind of exhausted. Did she get enough sleep last night? Maybe I should ask, but would that be too out of my character.

What the hell am I thinking?

"Uhm hey? We're here already."

I stopped walking to see that she already stopped behind me. I was too caught up in my thoughts.

"Oh right."

She laughed lightly, "Are you ok?"

I nodded, "Goodnight then."

"Goodnight Tsukki."

My heart sank as she slipped behind the gate. I stood there for a second then turned to my house next door.

The door opened before I could.

"Kei! Hi sweetie, I have to go to the store to buy eggs for tomorrow." It was my mom. "You have a friend upstairs by the way. I'll see you soon."

A friend?

I went upstairs to my room and was greeted with a girl laid belly down on my floor, swinging her legs back and fourth. She looked up at me.

"Hi Tsukki." Ami smiled.

"Don't call me that."

"Aweee why?"

I ignored her question, "Why are you here?"

"I need help with homework."
