Amelia was constantly on edge in case Drew turned up. She felt like she couldn't sleep and she couldn't relax. She was constantly looking out for him.

Tom felt bad seeing how she was. He didn't want that for his family. He wanted them to be relaxed.

Tom walked into the bedroom. He saw Amelia sitting on the bed. He smiled. "Hey. Come on babe. Let's get into work."

"Do I have to?"

Tom rolled his eyes and smiled. He pulled her out of bed. "Madison has the kids. So we'll pick them up when we've finished."

Amelia groaned and nodded. She climbed out of bed and got dressed. Tom kissed her neck. "Do you know how gorgeous you are?" He said.

"You're just saying that."

Tom shrugged and kissed her. He knew he wanted to make it work. He wanted to make
their family work.

The two of them went into work. Madison smiled. "Kids are in the crèche. Lillie-Mae saw Max. He took her."

Amelia nodded and smiled. "Was she okay? Was Ariel okay?" She asked.

Madison nodded. "She was perfect. Summer is sitting by her. Lillie is looking after them. She loves it."

"She is. She's an amazing girl. Shocking considering she came from Max Tyler," Amelia said as she hugged her sister. "How are you feeling?"

Madison shrugged. "I'm okay I guess. It's hard being back here. I just feel rotten."

"You've got this. You know that? You're going to have another baby. Maybe it's with another guy. Maybe you and Max will make it work."

Madison rolled her eyes. "I don't think so."

"You never know."

Madison smiled and looked to her. "You and Tom. You're okay aren't you? You're not letting that asshat come between you?" She asked.

Amelia shrugged. "We're not arguing. I just don't feel comfortable. I can't sleep. I'm always on edge. And I don't wanna live like that."

Madison smiled. "Just find out what he wants. You can't live like that. It's not fair on you," she told her.

"Yeah I know."

Amelia was sitting in her classroom. She looked up as Max walked in. She sighed. "Can I help you?" She asked.

"I'd like Lillie this weekend. It would be nice for me to spend some time with her," Max said.

Amelia sighed and looked to him. "Maybe. I might be taking her away," she told him.

Max rolled his eyes and looked to her. "She's my daughter. I have rights you know. I could always take you to court."

"You wouldn't. Because you'd have to tell them how you walked away from her. And you wouldn't do that. You wouldn't put Lillie through that."

Max said nothing as he turned and walked off. He wasnt going to let Amelia shut him out of his daughter's life.

Amelia walked into the staffroom. She saw Madison and sighed. "Max has just threatened to take me to court."

"What? Why?"

"I don't know. I told him that i was possibly taking her out this weekend. He wanted her."

Madison smiled. "He won't. He wouldn't put Lillie through that."

"I hope so."

Amelia knew that her life was already complicated with Drew. But she had no idea how Max Tyler was about to make it a whole lot worse for her.
