Amelia hated how things had gotten complicated with her and Max. She knew he was trying to take her daughter from her. And she wasn't going to let him do it.

Ever since Lillie had been born, she had been the one always looking after her. Making her bottles. Feeding her.

Max had barely bothered. And she was fuming as to why he would try and take her now. She didn't understand why he wanted to take her away.

She knew she was a good mum. She had done everything she could for her daughter. To make sure she was happy and well looked after.

All she knew was that she needed to prepare herself for a war with Max Tyler. But it was a war she didn't know if she could win.

When she woke that morning, she saw Lillie toddling in. Amelia smiled and pulled her onto the bed. "Hello my gorgeous girl. Are you okay?" She asked.

Lillie nodded. "Daddy Tom say he make pancakes fors us. And he tells me to come gets you up," she told her.

Amelia smiled and nodded. She looked to her. "Has he put chocolate sauce on mummy's?"

"Yes! And mine!"

"Wow. You're a special girl aren't you?" Amelia said as she stood up from the bed. She grabbed her dressing gown.

Lillie frowned as she looked to her mum. "Why you no got no clothes on?" She asked.

Amelia groaned. She turned to her daughter. "Because mummy can't sleep in anything. She gets to warm and sticky," she told her.

Lillie giggled. She got off of the bed and made her way downstairs with Amelia. Tom smiled. "Hey. Good morning sleepy head," he said.

Amelia kissed him and smiled. She looked to him. "Lillie asked me why I was naked," she said.

Tom smirked. "Well I hope you didn't tell her the real reason why," he whispered.

"I just said I get warm and sticky."

"Naughty naughty."

Amelia and Tom went into work after taking Lillie and Arielle to daycare. Amelia saw Madison and walked over to her.

Madison smiled. "Hey. Have you spoken to Max? He says he's got to tell you something. And that you won't like it," she said.

Amelia groaned. "I can't deal with him yet. I need to have lunch first," she mumbled.

Madison smirked. She looked to her. "I did tell him you wouldn't talk to him yet. But you know, he doesn't listen."

"Clearly."

Madison smiled as she took her hand. "Whatever happens, I'm on your side. I promise."

Amelia walked into the office. She looked to Max and sighed. "What's going on?" She asked.

"I've made some calls. And as of now, I have custody of Lillie."

Amelia looked to him in shock. She couldn't believe it. "Are you kidding me?! What crap did you have to tell them for that?" She yelled.

Max shrugged. "Just that I'm concerned about my daughter."

Amelia shook her head. "You are an actual jerk. Do you know that?"

Max smiled and winked. "But I always get what I want. So, I'll be picking up Lillie from daycare and taking her home with me. Close the door on your way out," he said.

Amelia turned and walked off. She wasn't going to let Max Tyler get away with what he had done. No chance.
