"Should I wear this dress or this skirt with that blouse?" You asked Lidia as you swung lots of clothes on hangers in front of her.

"None of them," She grabbed one of the skirts and inspected it. "You're goin' to a party, not church."

You looked at her with your eyebrows raised and then scoffed. "Well, should I go naked?"

"Hell, I bet you know who would have a heart attack if you did." She giggled and slid on sleek black pumps to match her black skirt before putting on her new boyfriend of the week's leather jacket. "He'll cuss you out in that lil' accent the whole night."

She fished through the duffel bag she brought and pulled out a deep red pencil skirt that would be skin tight on you. "You put that black blouse on with that push-up bra, unbutton it a little lower than needed, tuck it in the skirt, and you'll be matching with me!"

"If you say so." You eyed the skirt. She pulled out a pair of similar-looking heels that you didn't know if you'd be able to pull off and set them in from of you.

"Who's jacket?" You smirked at her as she checked herself out in the mirror with the
leather coat on.

"Guess," She said with a big smile on her face as she picked up your lipstick and put it on her lips. "You won't believe who."

"Uh... you're back with that dunderhead that looks like a fish?" You said teasingly as slid the shoes on. She didn't even laugh, just looked at you as if she was a serial killer. "Oh cmon I'm just messing with you, but seriously who?"

"You'll find out," She said and grabbed her coin purse and shoved it in her pocket. "Now let's go before the party starts without us."

You both slipped out the bedroom door and tip-toed around Darry who was roughly snoring and sleeping in the recliner chair. You slowly and carefully opened the banged-up screen door and shut it lightly.

"You wanna hitchhike there?" She asked as you walked down the porch and kicked a cigarette butt into the dead grass.

"I guess," You shrugged. "We might get picked up by some creep though."

"That's happened to me three times now but I'm still kickin' so we should be fine," That alarmed you but you just nervously swallowed your spit and walked down the sidewalk and away from your neighborhood.

When you got far enough, she stood on the corner of the sidewalk with her thumb sticking out as she smacked on her gum and ratted her black hair with her other hand.

A red T Bird that was going at the speed of light stopped a few feet in front of you and backed up. It was Buck's car so you knew who would be in it. "Oh no."

"Hey babydoll, miss me?" He directed to you. You didn't look up and acted as if he wasn't even there. "You can't ignore me, I'll get outta this car if you do."

"And what the hell do you think you're gonna do to me??" You looked up and put your hands on your hips. He laughed his very known laugh then flicked the cig he was finished without the window and grabbed another one right after it along with a match that he struck on his St. Christopher chain.

"I ain't gonna do nothin' to ya baby, you know I'm just messin' with ya," He looked at your spilling cleavage as you walked up to the car with your hands still on your hips. He threw the match out aswell then bit his lip. "Y'all headed to Tim's ain't ya?" You nodded your head.

"Pretty stupid of y'all to hitchhike though," He rolled his eyes as opened the door. "As sexy as you are, I'd take you anywhere if I was some, uh, bad guy and whatnot." He then snickered a little as he looked over at Lidia. "But I'd leave that one."
