"Just what were you thinking?!" All for One glared down at me.

"Father! I had no idea that they would be there today! And even if I did.. there would still be no-"

"Izuku! I don't want to hear excuses! Those heroes could have found out everything! It is a blessing that Toga was there to help you or you would be in a whole new world of hurt."

My father growled at me, grabbing the collar on my shirt. He shook me hard, like he was trying to shake the issue out of me. I frowned and grabbed at him wrists, locking eyes with him. He snarled once more before dropping me down on the bed.

"Should we really be arguing when moms in-"

"She's dead."

I stop dead in my tracks and stare up at my father. A cold feeling started to spread through my vains as I reel back from him, grabbing onto my desk for support.

"What?" My quiet voice echoed through my room, making it seem larger then it was.

My father sighed and squatted down low next to me. There was a glistening in the eyes of the villain before he hardened them once more. He stood aburptly, walking over to the window to stare out at the glistening sun.

"That's the real reason why I'm here son. She was in an accident. The death was immediant but the doctors did tell me that she had be intoxicated at the time. She caused it as well. Two kids were injured along with a young woman said to be their mother. They will be pulling through but...."

"The heroes. They want to interview me right? I take it that those people were family of one of them then." I let my voice loose all emotion.

This was bound to happen eventually. I just was not expecting it so soon... I didn't even get to tell her I loved her. Not that she would remember me saying that anyways. I shook off the raging thoughts before turning to look at Dabi, who had entered the room with a scowl on his face.

"Boss? Hate to inturrupt and all but we got guests. And I don't think that they are going to want to chat with villains like us."

His flat voice brought us both back into reality with a snap. My father immediantly strode out the door, dissapearing through a portal created by one of the others back at base. Dabi went to blend into one of the shadows along the wall, carefully watching me as I go to open the door. Knocking racked through the small home and I opened the door slowly. Shoto stared back at me with round eyes. "Midoriya...?" I scowl.

"Do you need something? Or are you just here to chat? Becuase if that is the case then I really don't have time."

"We were told to come here to discuss a case that we have been following.. nothing more."

"They lied to you then." I open the door wider, letting him come in.

He takes off his shoes and goes to sit down on one of the worn wooden chairs around the old kitchen table. I notice that his pocket had a slight buldge to it. Must be some sort of michrophone.. Although if that is the case then someone is going to be listening in to everything. I never took Shoto to be so secretive about this kind of stuff. Just shows you how the world changes people I guess...

"Midoriya. I hate to be the bearor of bad news... but your mother passed away earlier-"

"I know."

I turn to look at him dead in the eye, the emotions that had built up had slowly dissapeared. I was left as a hollow shell, even when my mother had been cruel to me, she still had been the woman that I had been raised by.

Shoto's eyes lowered. "I really am sorry Midoriya. I am here to ask you if she might have done anything to make you think that she would try to kill som-"

"Wait. What did you just say?! My mother would NEVER try to kill anyone!!" I leaned forward to growl in his face.

Screw this. My mother wouldn't do something like that. She was DRUNK! Why can't he understand that?! I lean back into my chair, my green eyes shining in the lowly lit room. Shoto's dull ones met mine, he looked broken. An expression that I haven't seen on him since his father was still around.

"Izuku... Your mother did try to kill the mom and kids that were hit. We tested her and she had no alchol in her system."

His quiet voice seemed to echo as I slump back in my chair. And I thought my FATHER was the one to fear... Guess I really do come from a rotten family. "So she's dead and you want to ask me why my mother tried to kill someone."

The bluntness in my voice seemed to startle him as he glanced up at me quickly before returning his gaze back down onto the table while nodding.

"I didn't know. When I first heard I simply thought she was drunk like always. I had no idea that she had intentanally tried to hurt someone. I didn't see her before I headed out to school this morning."

He nods once, like it was something that he had expected. I had spoken the honest truth about it though. I had no idea she would do something like this. Shoto held up a picture to me, showing the injuries that were on the victoms. Blood was everywhere while cuts were etched into their skin. Those are defintley going to scar later... Thats when I noticed with a shock that the cuts spelled out something. KILL IZUKU.

I felt my face grow pale. This is just to much, I don't need to police and heroes on my back! I narrow my eyes, leaning forward to take a closer look at the crime scene.

"Why are the heroes taking this case. This doesn't sound like something they would involve themselves in, much less have heroes in training taking the case."

"The heroes have no part of this-"

"Don't lie to me Sho. There is no way they are not involved if you are here when you should be in your dorm minding your own business." I stand up abruptly and turn to leave.

"Midoriya! Wait!"

"This conversation is over Shoto. I suggust you leave. Now."

He sighed heavily, walking towards the front door. "If something comes up please contact me. I need to figure out what is really going on and why someone would etch THAT into her."

He closed the door softly leaving me in the quiet house. Great. This is EXACTLY what I DIDN'T want! Now my father is going to be furious! More heroes on our tail is NOT good. The fact that my mother tried to kill innocents is not helping our case either. I hummed softly to myself before turning back to my room.

This truly is going to be causing trouble for the League... Well, I guess we must move our plans forward...
