The sun was just peaking up over the windowsill when I peeled my eyes open to stare up at the wooden ceiling. The events of the following two days came at me in a rush and I groaned, not really ready to get up to face a new day.
I can't believe that I ACTUALLY have to pretend to let a hero 'protect' me from some non-existent danger. Although I really do need to figure out exactly who wrote that on that woman's back and why someone would be after me... I shake myself from my own thoughts and glance at the time realizing that I had an hour before I had to get to school.
Slipping on jeans and a pull on hoodie I sit down and open my laptop. The plans for my new uniform was already made perfectly as well as up to my standards. I click one of the many open tabs and look at the contents of it.
Several uniforms and weapons lay there, the mechanics on how to make them as well as the materials needed.
If father still wants these by next week it is going to be harder to get the materials needed to create them in time..
I glance at the clock again and realize that thirty minutes had already passed. I quickly make myself some cereal and grab my bag from off the floor. I rush out the door and to school, knowing that another hero was only steps behind me.
TIME SKIP
I sighed, sitting down at the lunch table heavily. Dang it! I swear if I have to sit through ONE MORE idiotic lecture....
"IZUKU!!!" Toga slammed into me giggling. I grunt as her body weight is shoved into my back.
"Yes Toga? Is there something you need? Or is it just fun for you to ruin my meals on a daily basis?" I sent an icy glare in her direction then look down at my ruined lunch.
She rolled her eyes and plopped down beside me. She wore a crazed grin while eyeing me like I was a slab of meat.
"I just wanted to let you know that he is still wanting those special packages."
I groan and shake my head, "I am unable to provide the packages to him if he doesn't give me the materials to make them first!"
Toga's smile widened if that was even possible, she grabbed something that had been in her blood red backpack. Handing it to me in what looked like a lunch bag. I looked at the contents of the bag as a wide smile split across my face.
"That was a lot faster than expected. It has only been two days, Toga. He must have called in a lot of favors to get stuff like this that fast."
She simply nodded in agreement. Then we both turn to focus once again on our lunches, or in my case lack of lunch. I slip the 'lunch bag' into my backpack before the bell rang giving a soft goodbye to Toga as I hurry to class. It being the last day of school made the weight that I had been carrying fade. I sigh and sit back down into my seat, waiting for the teacher to come in while looking out the window.
TIME SKIP
I close the door quietly to my home. From what I had heard was that father was still going to pay for our home, just as long as is needed. After the heroes lose interest in me and start focusing once more on the more important things that a hero should be doing.
I plop onto the chair and glare at the laptop before opening it. The screen is shining on my face as I start to create the weapons, This will probably take a while, I need to be careful though. With the heroes right outside my door and all. Especially if it is one of those three...
I shake off the thoughts that started to climb into my mind. I hated to think about those old days, the broken friendship we all used to share had long since been gone.
