After the incident which you two lovingly called 'Daxgate', the meetups between you and Cash had all been going great. Fantastic even. You managed to get through the whole trilogy of Lord of the Rings, and had some pretty heated discussions about certain characters and plots. You two were hardly ever sharing the same opinion and with both of you being smartasses, there was a lot of room for discourse. And boy, did you enjoy your little disagreements. Mostly because, as you had learned in your meetings, Cash is funny as hell. And so sarcastic, like yourself. He made you laugh so hard sometimes that your belly hurt and people were giving you funny looks when they passed by. You both didn't care though.
"So, I guess this is it then. We're done with the books. Mission accomplished." You said to him giving him a thumbs-up, and internally slapped yourself for your lame comment. You made it sound like you wanted this to be over when this wasn't the case. At all.
"Yeah. You did it. We did it." He stated, nervously moving around in his chair.
"Is...is there anything you'd like to read?" The hope was so prominent in your voice, even Cash noticed it despite being in his head himself.
"Uhh, nothing really comes to mind right now. But I thought, maybe, if you want to, since we are stuck here in Jacksonville for some time, maybe we could, you know, meet somewhere else. Like..." His voice drifted off. He didn't know why he was at a loss of words, he had said this to you a million times. In his head, at least.
"Like...a date?" You raised your eyebrow at him, but smiled nonetheless.
"...yes." He nodded to you.
"I'd love to, Cash." Your smile grew even bigger and the butterflies in your stomach went wild when you saw his face light up. There was just something about his smile that, from day one, made you fall for the guy. And now, knowing that he was smiling because of you...damn, that was the icing on the cake.
"Awesome, what about Monday? I could pick you up at home and we could, you know, see a movie and have some dinner?"
"Hmmm, I have to work Monday morning and evening. Maybe....a lunch date?" You answered, not being too fond of the idea of him picking you up at home. And truthfully, you were working Monday.
"You need to work? I thought AEW was a Wednesday through Saturday kind of thing." Cash seemed to be irritated.
"It is, that is why Mondays and Tuesdays, I work at a coffeshop in the morning and at a restaurant at night. You know, for the moneys."
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know. Should I pick you up at the coffeeshop then?" Cash tried not to show, but he was very impressed with your work ethic. He thought about all the times when your co-workers put extra work on you because you were working so efficiently, all the while you also had two other jobs. Which you most likely were just as good at. He wanted to make you happy and enjoy yourself even more now. "Don't worry, I'll come up with something we could do in between your schedule."
You agreed with him, and gave him the address to pick you up.

"Man, she really seems to be your cup of tea, Cash. Funny, smart AND hardworking. She's got it all. And she is kind of cute, too." Dax almost brought up the incident again, but knew better. He had never said anything negative about you or your book dates again. Instead, he let his friend enjoy himself and, when Cash decided to let him in on what was on his mind, listened to him.
That was when he realized that Cash got it bad. At first, it seemed like he just wanted to be friends with you, but over the weeks, whenever Dax noticed Cash zoning out, it was about you. His friend slowly fell for you, and now you two were actually going on a date.
"So, what do you have planned?"
