Deforestation is one of the anthropogenic activities that can limit animals' abundance or growth. Trees make the most habitat for some animals such as birds, squirrels, sloths, and koalas. These animals are dependent on the growing trees, and without them, they can't thrive. Trees also do not only become their shelter for these animals, but it is also their source of food and protection against predators. Hence, if deforestation continues, many animals will be affected, leading to catastrophic wildlife.
